That seems like way too much work for the editors!
The game is currently in Open Beta of the JP version. It's open to anyone in any region, but the servers are JP and the only language supported right now is Japanese. I wrote up a very brief review on yesterdays speakup but I can't find it now because old comments seem to be missing. A (slightly) more brief review…
Well you've done you're best at proving me wrong! and I appreciate the effort.
You can get access to your old account, you have to link it to a twitter, facebook or google account.
I hope so. They've been very quiet on whether PSO will get an English version or even language option in the JP version though.
I hope PSO2 counts as part of their "digital" umbrella. Would love to see a localized version hit the US... or at least a EN Language option for the JP version...
I thought Sega's announcement was for all Western dev teams, not just EU/AUS.
Until publishers start realizing that the value they create isn't platform specific, but content specific, no one will care about cross platform play.
I'm not saying it has no place. It certainly has a place. I'm just saying the use of it has be be more thoughtful than just having the enemies talk about the player because that seems to break the reality, for me.
The worst thing about this comment system is that People are unlikely to reply to anything but the first 10 posts, as anything beyond that is hidden by the little arrow.
I didn't really like the changes they made somewhere back in 1.14 but that was right before introducing the "special" classes (paladin, etc.)
It can help with immersion. But doing what standard developers do generally breaks immersion more than helps it. Unless one of the core mechanics is eavesdropping, sometimes the maxim of less is more holds true. Devs often forget this maxim though.
PSO 2. IMO.
Why XIV? It's in a really weird place right now, between a complete revamp and shambling on with the old engine. At least wait until 2.0 is out to review or compare it.
It's not that bad. I mean, it does kind of suck, but I think each episode is a nice "stopping" point if the first one is anything to judge by. I bought the season pass on ps3 for $20...
I think the best bark system was in Half-Life 2... really. I'm not sure why devs think we need to hear everything everyone else is saying... it should be minimal at best...
Doesn't trademark law prevent them from making a game called Wipeout? It's the exact same name as an established franchise (which is owned by sony, isn't it?) What is sony doing?!
That's the 2.6gb update discussed above. The first bar which is partially filled in is the "progress" The second is the "download" and third is "install." It takes a while to DL the update, so just hit play and then let it sit there until that bar is full.
The problem is that system gets really complicated. For two reasons, First is Credit and Second is Anticommons.
