There is so much they could do in addition to setting the game on a different timeline or different portion of the world. Alternatively, It would be awesome if the end antagonist was your player character from Dark Souls - particularly if you chose to not light the kiln of the first flame.

Yes, you should if you like Action RPG's and dark fantasy settings, and challenging games.

The game had so many throwbacks to classics. Random tiles from Mike Tyson, Final Fight, Street Fighter, Metroid, Mega Man 3, Dragon Warrior, and obv zelda. It was so full of crazy throwbacks...

You have to admit, there's something interesting about sandbox games where you essentially "create" your own story. While that story may be as shallow as "capture this point" the idea that this is what your team needs for the day, and this is what you're banding together to do feels a lot deeper than pretty much any

Totally agree on Diablo 3 being more "addictive" and gamified. The reason is because Diablo 3 has a viable metagame, whereas torchlight will not. There will be no economy and simply no endgame.

I met Toshio Maeda once, when I was teaching English in Japan. He was an interesting guy.

Yay a bunch of statistics about the wage gap, which has nothing to do with gender but actually is primarily due to the choices women make.

We are less likely to see a doctor because we are less likely to have our care covered, or to have the money to do so in addition to different social pressures.

Aside from your incoherent sentence:

Rofl. So when there is a problem that men have, it's the fault of men - and that justifies the disparate treatment by the law? What a joke. If women had 6 year shorter life expectancy we would have congressional panels to deal with it (probably the panel on women and girls) within a week.

How about when men have equal rights in custody, equal life expectancy, equal suicide rates, equal education and equal treatment by the criminal justice system?

You would make the perfect villain for any game, sir.

And men's health care isn't even being talked about at all, despite the fact that men are more likely to die from medical related problems, less likely to see a doctor, and have a life expectancy 6 years shorter than women. So really, what about the men?

The newest thing: agenda based videogames? Also:

Non-stick pans are a technical solution to a problem that didn't exist. But hey, it gets people to buy more pans right?

Really, Trogloraptor?

I have avoided the ENTIRE OUYA hype. I can't believe people are so hyped about it...

I've cut much meat out of my diet as well. I still eat chicken legs about once a week (organic, free range generally high quality for ~$2 / lb) and more expensive ground beef once or twice a week.

This is really why I always loved CS. I hate the instant respawn of modern military FPS games. No consequence of death makes for a weak game.

Nevermind.
