Oh, come on. The writer loves the series, dislikes this aspect of it, writes a piece that explains what happens in the games and what might be behind it.
Never bow to the demands of the small percentage of loud, stupid, angry “fans,” no matter what media you work.
Xenogears is way up there on the wish list, but I’m noticing an intense lack of the Valkyrie Profile series here. Lenneth (the first) with HD pixel art and Silmeria with Zodiac Age-like graphics. That is indeed what I want. Silmeria was already (like FFXII) pretty much PS2+ in its graphics quality.
People who prefer the PS2's “quality” visuals are the same people who think VHS offers an experience you can’t get with Blu-ray and that the distortion and low fidelity fuzzing sounds on ancient LP’s are better than than crystal clear audio where you can hear all the instruments.

Actually Jason was making a quite clever FFVIII inside joke. And I also think he loved it.
Nice of you to make an article about me. ;)
You actually gave her a nice excuse to gloss over her mistake. It doesn’t change the fact that she says, a couple sentences later, that after FireRed/LeafGreen he “goes off the radar”, later showing up in Black 2 White 2 (erm... HeartGold and SoulSilver?).
For the main character, Red’s life after Red and Blue is somewhat of a mystery. His next appearance would be in Fire Red and Leaf Green

Oh, it’s the same with Chrono Trigger.
It was a joke. Marasai was referring to the fact that Data was immune to the addictive effects of the game (because he’s an android) and had to be deactivated for the Ktarians’ plan to work.
When you think about it, it makes sense that it doesn’t work well on androids.
Not hipster. I just happened to have lived in Brazil for many years and drank coffee from a farm where it was actually planted, harvested, roasted and prepared all by hand (and by the same person).
do I dare try anything pumpkin spice in our local import grocery?
