I agree, when it became obvious that this “world” was not weird because of David’s perspective but it was just weird for artsy-fartsy sake, it really put me off saying this was a top tier show, like I did think it was in season 1. It basically was another “Mr. Robot” weird for weird sake show. I do give it credit…

I don’t care what anyone says, David’s mental illness NEVER made any sense. His symptoms were all over the place, his so-called “multiple personalities” were never remotely set up or properly established and aside from extreme narcissism (which was building all season and then was abruptly forgotten in this episode)…

If this is the last we see of them, I'm happy Jean Smart and Jemaine Clement got such a great showcase episode. Smart in particular was given some bad material in season 2. 

Yes. This brought me back to some of (what I think were) the high points of season 1, when some of the episodes were more horror than sci-fi/fantasy.  The Shadow King/Devil with Yellow Eyes/World’s Angriest Boy in the World are scary.

I think this is ridiculous. The Presidential Medal of Freedom is an incredible honor no matter who’s giving it to you and for West to decline would be ridiculous. Besides, how do you know he doesn’t support Trump? If he does, then turning down the medal just to appease Liberal sportswriters would be ridiculous. I…
