I’m sure you were just as quick to pan the entirety of non-union labor when Tesla parts were falling off their cars.

“Anyway. Is anyone else sad the Formula 1 season is coming to an end this weekend?”
Yes. It makes perfect sense that the guy in the video chose to collapse from the heat. We should definitely blame him for his choices, and not a company making billions in profits and refusing to provide for their workers.
This entire comment is very stupid and reflects your basic lack of empathy and any understanding at all about economic realities in this country. But this gem made me laugh the most: “I won’t say I don’t feel sorry for UPS drivers...” and then you spend an entire paragraph explaining exactly how not sorry you feel for…
Obligatory:
I just don’t get the wadded panties here over politically-bent reviews. It’s not new on Jalopnik, and it is why I started following back when Liebermann and Siler were writing. Keep it up, I thought this was a great read.
Yes, absolutely. Any car over $60K is overpriced, and the Hummer only exacerbates the issue of people thinking EVs are only for elites with lots of money. Europe and China get sub-$10K EVs, and our cheapest is over 30. It’s insane.
Am I the one who is biased, or the people whose job it is to make sure they get invited to the next Ram launch?
Cars are politics, my dude.

A record number of Americans were behind on their car payments WAY before covid. Economic slump didn’t start with the virus.
It’s literally my job, but did you miss the positive points? I feel like you missed the several paragraphs of praise that I heaped on this thing.
I’ve never driven another car with two different cruise control actuation buttons. And you certainly can’t cruise sans radar in our Buick.
I mean, racecars can be winter daily drivers, but for whatever reason their owners insist on using the worst possible tires in the snow.
Ram actually had to dig for a supplier that could meet their needs in producing the world’s largest production car spring in the kind of quantity needed for this beast.
You can’t really believe any car magazine’s review of a truck. Most of the major publications used to say that the previous gen of Ram truck drove like a luxury car because of the coil spring suspension. Having spent a bit of time in one that is total bullshit - they seemed to be reciting the marketing fuckery that…
You certainly don’t have to, but a baja truck in the city is worse for everyone than a race car. And a race car can tap into its performance between lights and at on ramps, etc. I think the TRX is a riot, but there are just too many trucks everywhere in the city. At least a special edition is fun and hopefully garaged…
In answer to your wonderment “All-in it was $89,225! Imagine getting a 180 month note on this big boy at 4 percent APR!”
The majority of buyers will take this truck off-road probably once a year, if that. And it’s up to us all to mock them mercilessly for their silly purchase.
