Agree that is a great Koontz book! He has so many, I didn't know where to start. You might enjoy The City. It's long and a departure from his usual, but always a hidden twist. Music is involved.
The City, Ashley Bell, and The Odd Thomas series (three?) are great books. Koontz is prolific. His earlier stuff is dark and cool and more Kingish. These are still of the same genre but more subtle. The Odd books also have a humor element mixed with the supernatural. His earlier writings, like King’s, are downright…
And dig your handle, prufrock?
Interesting. And, I dig King, but more his earlier work. I'm now way into Dean Koontz.
Hell bound
Almost always better not to know the personal side of personalities, artists, etc., that we like.
He’s a quirky guy.
Ha. Used to be a big fan of Up! All Night. Way back in the day. Way back.
Great post. Cajun music and zydeco have a good deal of squeeze box. Kind of like cowbell in that you can’t have too much. The only way it’s like cowbell.
Assuming you’re not a troll as I am not good with others’ irony, this is a music site where you may listen, post, or comment. All are welcome. It’s pretty chill and judge-free. Def not like the Kristin shit. Welcome.
Agree. Love Petty.
You do you. I'm down. Great post, in fact. This is Lyle Lovett. She’s No Lady. I don’t know. It’s sort of swing. In a way. Thought I’d follow the swing theme a bit. I’ll stop now. Totally overloading the narrative.
Drugs?
Awesome
SevenEves. Neal Stephenson. Heavy read. Well worth it.
Says Who. I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues. Elton John.
I can neither admit nor deny the thought has entered my consciousness.
Great post. Beck is best.
Anyone else tired of that fucking social security ad? Anyone? So What Cha Want? Beasties. I’m done.
