@taz20075: Yes people really do go out and plop down 2 grand for a TV without the proper setup.

@Logical Extremes: same here though not geek tool, other items. I think it was just 10.3 that had issues as I have never needed to install anything extra on 10.4+

option empty trash has been around for eons. It was used in the OS 1-9 days as a way to empty the trash of locked items.

You can change that ( I just took a look and figured out how by using the advance settings) But I had the same issues.

great program (thats free thank god, so tired of the OS X app updaters that are not)

Very few jobs really leave themselves open to it. Mine there is no way in hell I could, I do tech support, while 50% of the time I could remote into the persons computer to do a repair, hardware takes up another 50%

If GM is really getting a true 35 MPG thats a

No need for snipping anything. In one of our labs we use nylon hole plugs you can buy at Home Depot or any other store (the ones you can use to close holes on stuff like you would buy from Ikea)

For the life of me, I couldn't figure out how to use Firefox's spell check to replace a word until I saw your picture lol. I always copy and pasted into Excalibur instead.

@embee: Some of these apps do nothing more than present gui interfaces for what Apple already provided. Its just ment to make it a little easier for those people who are scared witless of the command line.

Expensive? I havent spent a cent on programs beyond a few games, and run a LOT of apps on my machine.
