I went through a period as a teen where my skin was really dry. Once I said to me dad, “my face hurts,” and he cracked, “well, it’s killing me!” I know he was joking but since I never heard any positive comments from him about my looks until I was older (and after I had a nose job) that comment really hurt.

Nit true. The factory was in “disputed territories” (ie, the west bank) it was an Israeli company that employed thousands of Palestinians. Then BDS forced them to close. Subsequently 2500 Palestinians lost their jobs, and all the perks that came along with it. So nobody “chased” the Palestinians away, unless you mean…

I was under the impression that this baby was a newborn - or close to it. When they’re under 6 months and you wear them strapped to you they’re usually pretty quiet.

Yet oddly enough the UN doesn’t condemn Saudi Arabia the way it does Israel, which is the only democracy in the region. That is seriously messed up.

I don’t understand why so many people (especially seemingly intelligent, powerful women!) think feminism is synonymous with man-hating. They clearly do not understand the definition. Methinks someone needs to explain it to them.
