Off topic —-but why is a stock photo of intertwined feet always used to represent sex? Do real humans do this? I like snuggling, but the feet need to stay out of it. Maybe I’m just a lot shorter than my partners and it never works like this?

I think people frequently make the mistake of assuming children are just mini adults. They aren’t. Children are exponentially more vulnerable to workplace abuses than adults— and adults are already pretty vulnerable these days.

It’s about time we returned to the good old days of 1899 when people had more children to put them to work.

Most of the worst jobs I’ve ever had were the ones that happen to give bonuses. So anecdotally speaking, there may be something to this psychological trickery…I’d be completely ready to quit, but then feel guilty or a sense of hope for the upcoming bonus.

I worked for a company that did away with bonuses, and instead gave us a 5% pay increase.

The writers and actors consistently make me care about these loathsome people. They’re truly fantastic.

I don’t agree one can make that assumption. Drew seems rather spontaneous in her outbursts of feelings.

I was just telling my husband how Anthony Kiedis is kind of annoying now that he’s addicted to fitness.

Drew seems like a truly lovely person with lots of empathy. But close-talkers get sent straight to (my) jail.
