“The 33-year-old racer has competed for three teams since joining F1 in 2011"
That input switcher. Golden! I’ve spent the past few years rotating consoles in and out or figuring which TV’s have the input space to take what consoles. It’s a pain and always leads to one or two consoles getting neglected.
Good to know! I have a PS2 through 5 so I’ll have to try to track a copy down.
Sad to see this history dismantled, but I can only hope they go to people who share the passion. I too remember the K-Mart car as one of my first recognizable race cars along with the red/white Penske’s and a few select others. What a cool opportunity.
I left a Canon lens on my roof once. Swapped lenses at the car and set it there so it wouldn’t get stepped on or anything bad, right... It was a day or two later that I opened my camera bag, saw the empty space, and put it all together.
You couldn’t ask for a better driver lineup. Nice to see my favorite Formula-E Team partnering with Penske. But lets hope the results are more DS Techeetah than Dragon Penske.
What an uncomfortable mix of hard and soft lines. Funny how I saw it and though, Awww look at that tiny grille, even though it’s still a bit large compared to past iterations.
Show me the CrossCabriolet edition and then we’ll talk!
Passat is the mileage king. Plus that lavish rear leg room. I sure miss mine! It was the best car for road tripping, hands down.
Ya, why would they use some today’s most popular actors and a huge global video game franchise? It’s almost as if they wanted their creative endeavor to be recognized and noticed.
I’ll admit I liked it the first couple times I saw it. Now that it’s trickled down to most every major brand it’s a bit tired. It’s going to age about as well as the turquoise wave in the 90's.
M’er F’ing Herbie. We had those movies recorded off TV on VHS and I nearly burned them out. That along with the classics. Hot Wheels, RC cars, the Pole Position arcade machine at our local pizza place. It was early access to driving as a child and I was hooked.
Thanks, I may give Heat a try since I’m sure I can find it cheap by now. We’ll see if the new one looks promising first. Iracing checks my “true sim” box but I don’t have the time for it lately. Beam.NG has caught my eye. I’ve been on a more arcade racer kick but could use a good sim-cade middle ground as GT7 is…
The NFS franchise feels so far removed from the one I grew up with. I still play too many racing games for my age, but I can’t remember the last NFS title that sparked any interest. Maybe the bar is set low enough now that I’ll have no choice but be impressed.
That’s the perk of only buying vehicles where the VIN has rusted off.
Makes sense, I suppose Max’s trajectory as a driver outweighed his actual performance at that point still. Especially with him winning his first weekend in a RBR car. I feel like Max and Daniel were pretty close most days, whereas now Lando and Daniel are pretty close only some days.
Daniel to Lando is looking much like Daniel to Max back at Red Bull. He ran away from that one and rightfully so. Why compete against a teammate who’s clearly the favored driver when other teams are willing to pay big bucks (Renault) to put you in their car. Unfortunately this time I don’t know if other teams are…
