Got an hour under my belt and then came down with pneumonia. Can't wait to feel good enough to play it. Gaming is the best medicine at times, just not for pneumonia.

C5r is near the top of my list too. That one hit you in the stomach every lap!

I didn’t scroll far enough and posted this too. You are absolutely correct! Especially if you’re driving it in the enclosed arcade machine. You knew it was fast because there was no brake pedal!

Nothings more timeless than the Pole Position car.

As an American who knows how to drive, I love roundabouts. But I absolutely hate the people in them. They started popping up here 10-15 years ago in low volume areas but now they’re everywhere.

Well someone had to do it first, but what a poor implementation. This is like an active version of AI tech support but it’s all geared towards marketing rather than support.

I’m curious where Minecraft goes with this, 2025 is a ways away. As a lame adult dad I still play it with my daughter though my 16yo son has grown out of it.

I’m not a fan of the trajectory, but I can’t blame them. Both my local Best Buys are ghost towns compared to the heyday of the late 90's early 00's. Dead products and dead stores don’t pair well. As much as I like physical media it’s not what people are buying.

Couldn’t agree more. I was impressed my older CX5 I bought new, and when looking for something a little nicer I thought a newer gen Mazda would be perfect. My first dealership experience wasn’t great, but with the shift upmarket I expected the dealer experience to do the same. It didn’t, and I’d say it was maybe even

As much as I think street circuits aren’t great I’d prefer it over any classic US circuit (Road America, Watkins Glen, Laguna, Sebring, etc.) get completely ruined to be FIA Grade 1 certified.

The points system is simple, it’s exponential gains which is the way it should be done. It’s much harder to achieve 2nd than 3rd than 4th and so on. And winning a race is vastly superior to coming in second. If every margin was 1 point you wouldn’t see the same fighting in the field. It’s often not worth the risk for

I assume he means left turn red arrows. The green turn arrow is a necessity in many spots, but few things are worse than the cars next to you with a green while you sit at a red left turn arrow while there’s absolutely no oncoming traffic.

Do people actually use QR codes for security? It’s a convenience system, no one touts it as a security measure. Plus, it’s for a drink menu so what security would be needed?

Not objectively awful, but surprisingly terrible.

I’m here nor there on the politics of this or who may or may not have approved it.

Nothing gets me more excited than a CEO saying a future product will be “cool and fun.

These logo changes are right on par with the changes we see in the 911 every generation. Pretty minimal, but always different. Look at the first and last and it’s still unmistakably similar, just like the 911. Great job Porsche!

Solid list. I relax to Snowrunner and Art of Rally often. A few more honorable mentions for me would be:

This list has a lot of awful takes to me. But seeing the mixed opinions from everyone else makes me realize how this series has been able to impact different gamers in different eras in different ways.
