I have never, ever heard of this being an issue. My company has dozens of MB's and I personally have had 5 and never once has this been a problem. Apple trackpad is famed for being the best in the industry. Strange that you have no luck with it.

I think you overestimate the "individuals" appeal of Apple. I changed to Mac after over 15 years of windows use. I certainly am not a "look at me" consumer.

I have gone through Bose, Beats and now am on B&W P5's - to date, dollar for dollar, the P5's are the best for me on sound and build quality, the worst, in terms of value, have been the Beats.
