and again, next.....

I am an Apple user and think very highly of their products, but this would be my worst nightmare. Large crowds and shopping all rolled into one - not for me. I'll just purchase from the online Apple store from the comfort of my office chair thank you very much.

Addressed the facts? Answer point 1 and 2 with a yes or no? .... next

You know what, I offered a graceful exit so we could stop boring the arse of people on this site, you decided not to take it, so forget about opinions, expectations, perceptions, objectives and maybes, here are the facts 1) Apple do advertise that its in Beta, full stop, end of story, period. I don't care a jot if you

I just don't see where Siri is such a large failure, broken promise or lies. As I said, we can agree to disagree.

Look this all started with me correcting you that the statement Apple are not selling it as Beta is incorrect, I stand by that correction. They have not hidden it anywhere obscure it's on their website in bright orange. I was correcting you, who I presume is a techie as you are starred in Gizmodo and the author is,

"but that's exactly the author's point: Apple isn't selling this as a "beta""

First - You are correct it is not semantics, the advertising on their website is clear, it was always in Beta and we understand the meaning of Beta - I apologize.

Okay, I am not going to get into semantics. Look, I understand the point of the article but the fact of the matter is that Apple have said all along that this is Beta, you can argue all day with what is the appropriate amount of coverage Apple gave the Beta tag and you can argue all day what they have traditionally

The irony of you commenting on someones understanding of a sentence is incredibly funny. Reverse your argument and look at your own post. Did I say death was not important? Did I say you said death was not important? No, you put your own interpretation on that didn't you (Ironic no?).

"but that's exactly the author's point: Apple isn't selling this as a "beta""

"Can you tell me one, only one difference between what is happening now in Cairo, and what happened in Oakland for example.........death, not counting"

So for some of the naive idiots in this this thread, I need to clarify your view point; so, it's perfectly okay to steal something if there is no physical product involved? It's not okay to steal from a shop, because they physically lose something? It's okay to "share" someones non physical product? Stealing is only

Don't forget Patent trolls and innovation haters and I'm sure we could tie in the recent economic crash to the evil West Coast bastards as well.

Paranandroid much?

Generalize much?

"However, success often leads to copycats. Other vacuum cleaner manufacturers began to market their own version of a bagless vacuum cleaner. James Dyson had to sue Hoover UK for patent infringement winning $5 million in damages." - its called Google.

Necessity is the mother of invention - Nuff said.

....and so enter number 3. Welcome.
