Let’s not carried away with all the puns, see what happens with the movie, slowly slowly catch the monkey.

Apples revenue figures and growth would beg to differ.
"All apple is doing is trying to make it harder for other smart phones to function fluidly"
Can you say hello to the 60,000+ employees that work for Apple for me when you drop in to meet with them next.
You sir, are Gordon Gekko.....do you have any tips on stocks that will rise, I will be sure to short on your recommendation.
It would appear that you are one of the idiots. You are confusing gasoline with oil.
The irony is that the publicity works two ways - Apple will probably sell a shit load more products and services because of this, hell, the crowds witnessing the farce probably popped in and bought some I products whilst they were there.
"if i see a product for $4 one place, and the exact same thing for $9 somewhere else, i would consider myself an idiot for buying the $9 product"
Erm......it wasnt a natural disaster, nor was it one of the largest.
Agreed, but I guess my point was that it may be too little too late. They were definitely well ahead of the curve a decade ago but let that slip. I am guessing it is key to the argument, each division worked on their own and no one pulled them all into one room and said "let's make all your products work together".
For me it is all about integration. Everyone has had a Sony music device, Sony TV, Playstation, mobile phone etc etc at some point of time. Stand alone, they are all great products but they had been stand alone. Where Apple succeeded (and I know not popular with all, but you can't argue, they have succeeded) was…
Thats all I saw.
"There's a reason why they continue to chug along and dominate the entire home PC market place - the stuff works, and works well."
Troll much?
This.
Don't know where you are getting your information from, but there are many more IOS apps than Android, therefore "every app" is not on both platforms.
Are you seriously this ignorant or are you on a troll roll? Arround 75 million sales of combined Android and IPad units in only a few years since the first iPad was released and you want woken up when it's mature? Seriously why are you even visiting tech sites?Rumpelstiltskin would have woken with a boner by now, how…
The handheld market died for Nintendo, not the other way round. Apple have never needed to "own" the market, they have a demographic they they cater to, as do their competitors, there's plenty of room for all (selling 3million in a weekend would corroborate that). Please, get over the specs, it's way more than that…
Read the article, JD did not say it was going, he said it was changing. Big difference.
