These remind me a bit of Ernst Haeckel’s beautiful nature paintings...

Sure they do - over time. Add up all the hurricanes, tornadoes, etc in between the last two major earthquakes and I bet you already know which is more deadly.

Where to? Tornado Alley? The Hurricane Coast? Barren Desert?

I don’t think it is the case, but for the sake of argument, let’s assume Natasha was referring to her sterility as making her ‘a monster’. Why is this wrong? Real people have screwed up perceptions of themselves. There certainly are women who can’t have children and it can weigh heavily on their pysche. Allowing for a

Whedon didn’t create the character - he is somewhat beholden to her comic origins and the sterilization is part of that.

More like “Life of a Douchebag - As Told by an iPhone”

I think you’re reading too much into it. People naturally use differences to separate what we knew previously to what we know now. The Ghostbusters were historically male, so by nature of comparison, it makes sense to note that this version is distinctly different in gender. I don’t think making mention of this change

Unless there was an airplane crashing into a building that I missed, there is nothing explicitly 9/11 about this. It is a reference to a city being destroyed, which happens in just about every recent superhero/comic movie.

I thought the destruction was something from the end of Man of Steel. How are you all assigning 9/11 to that? Any destruction from these movies would have buildings crumbling and people dying and obviously Wayne/Batman would try to save people. How else are you supposed to visualize that?

You mean selecting a different palette in Photoshop?

Am I the only one massively disappointed in the Apocalypse costume? He looks like a really bad Star Trek alien crossed with The Leprechaun in a cheesy, crinkly looking suit. He should be huge and rock-jawed. Such a letdown.

And that outfit is terrible. Ugh. This is giving me grave doubts.

I’m still excited for Apocalypse the movie, but Apocalypse the character looks terrible in that teaser. He needs to be The Thing sized and have the stoney, Hulk face - not just look like another normal blue dude

Ah, the stupidity of assigning gender to asexual robots.

You and Jeb Bush are a match made in heaven.

Uh, ok. Most consider a “cure” as something that eliminates a disease from being a threat to our existence and well-being. Diseases like polio and measles that can be vaccinated against and are now very rare are considered “cured”. If your definition of “cure” is something more akin to a 50% successful remediation,

I may be alone in this, but I am way more excited for Cage and Jones than I am for Punisher. If the writers take a healthy page from the Bendis’ take on these characters, it will be excellent.

I don’t know how I can say this any more clearly, but if all that is left between a species and extinction is a singular forest fire, that species might not be one that can be saved.

Oh good, you’re spouting nonsense in two different threads. Yay! You and Jeb Bush can say whatever you’d like, but I think you’ll both find that saying something doesn’t make it a reality.

Haha. If you read my last response, you would have seen the answer to your initial question.
