As someone who’s still playing SNES from time to time, this makes total sense to me.

When I think about games like Tf2 or CoD, I’m not sure I would be able to hear a difference. Probably more polite, but in the end all the teens with mics are a mixture of chainsaw and dentist’s drill to my ears. All hail the mute button.
