Obviously it’s time for a crossover series! In season 2/6 of Silicon Barry, our favorite hitman leaves LA to do regional theater in San Francisco, but finds himself tempted when Gavin Belson offers him a starring role in Hooli: The Movie in exchange for taking out Jeff Bezos.

This whole story sort of reminds me of the European tour that Anvil embarks on at the beginning of their documentary.

That’s not too crazy— I’ve seen bands at the 100-200 capacity level do routes like NYC -> Philly -> Boston -> DC, etc. Mostly has to do with what nights are available in what cities and how much time you’re willing to backtrack to fill a tour schedule. Of course, those are bands with actual fans...

So do we think this means Toy Story 4 will be released exclusively to Disney+, or co-released with theaters, etc.?  Certainly sounds like it will be less of an event than the previous 3 (which, given its tales of development hell, might be fitting).

In 2002, a delayed flight from Boston to Salt Lake City left me with a scant four minutes to get to my connection to San Diego. Not only did they hold the plane for me, but a concierge for the airline grabbed my carry-on and ran along with me to the next gate. It’s my only SLC airport experience, but it was a good one.

Before I start a game, I try to get a reasonable idea from sites like GameFAQs or HowLongToBeat of how long a playthrough might take (and I lean towards main-story gaming over completionism). It’s hard for me to consider taking on a game over, say, 15-20 hours if it’s not an IP I’m already invested in (Zelda, GTA,

I’ve played through a number of Resident Evil games, but 7 is the only one where I would feel genuine anxiety starting up a session.

I’ve put a lot of hours into my SNES Mini; it’s really satisfying to play using an actual SNES controller, and the little emulation bells and whistles are nice.

Muncy hit that homer off of Eovaldi’s 97th pitch in relief.  It seemed clear the game would come down to which pitcher made the next mistake, but yeah, what a battle of wills that turned into.  My wife, who often falls asleep on the couch well before 10pm, made it to 3am, and I held vigil for the last half-hour.

Hard to believe that all they had to do for the X rating was to have a robot murder Jerry Seinfeld.

This is a cool idea, and I like a lot of these suggestions — 100 posts for a blog, 100 submissions to agents. I’d add that 100 songs for a band seems like it’s in another realm, though— I’ve been playing in bands for the last 25 years, and the most prolific of them took two years to get to 45 songs.

Spent 90 minutes or so on Bloodborne and hadn’t gotten past the second checkpoint, so I bailed.  I didn’t get very far in Last Guardian either, though I feel like I will go back to that at some point.

Yeah, WTF were they thinking making Powder?

Ha! This is my hometown paper.  My parents’ neighbors once came downstairs to the kitchen to find a bear cub eating their donuts.
