Another brilliant move by Elon! He’s disrupting Tow!

Can't go in the snow, shuts off in a tug of war, generally as big of a joke as Elon is. Anybody dumb enough to pay 100k for one of these deserves what they get.

Interesting that we’ve seen videos of tug-o-wars with Rivians, F150s Lightnings and Hummer EVs without this issue occurring.

Except, no, because it’s not like a transmission switching between forward and reverse.  Electricity doesn’t care if the load is caused by having to pull an object, versus having to go up a steep hill.  Load is load.

I think the bigger issue is having a buddy with a Cybertruck...

Lol art and sports are subjective and objective, respectively. One is based on opinions and beliefs, the other on literal numbers required to be higher or lower than one another.

This game has easily my favorite story in any modern video game. Truly outstanding.

Probably the Mark Wahlberg football movie.

The real take should be: we’ve got Biden, who is on a slow, gentle glide in a fairly typical retirement old-guy mindset, and we’ve got Trump who is in a steep decline into blithering madness. They are two different angles of descent. We’re stuck with both because of rules and reasons: An incumbent president has the

At the risk of jumping in early on another thread doomed to get 300 comments from dozens of people arguing at each other, Jon Stewart was never and certainly is not in this year 2024— a kingmaker. I watched TDS religiously through the first decade or so of his tenure, and Bush was still elected and subsequently reelec

People criticizing Jon Stewart for saying things that sound exactly like the takes you would expect from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show feels like a throwback to 20 years ago.

Eh. He spent maybe two minutes tops—including applause breaks and reading the tweets in question—on the backlash. Really he used that to tee up his takedown of Carlson.

Jokes on you I’m a colonoscopist !

Also, when Idle complains that Spamalot only made money 20 years ago, that would have been when Idle was 60, a perfectly reasonable time for an adult’s income-earning days to start winding down.  Doesn’t Idle have, like, mutual funds?

Cleese is like Chevy Chase...it’s funny he’s an asshole but it’s also not really an act.  Eric Idle has always been too obsessed with famous people and money.  Gilliam has always been crazy and irresponsible.  Chapman was always a huge superior asshole.  Terry Jones was always a tyrant.  And Michael Palin was always

In the words of Raylan Givens, if you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. You run into assholes all day, you’re the asshole.

Cleese appears to be an egotistical bigot, while Idle seems like a cranky bastard who apparently has issues with every other living member of the troupe.  Shocking that this apparently made for a tense working environment.

It’s annoying that they edited it, but I’m more annoyed by people giving her shit for her voice cracking. Like, it happens to every singer. You can’t predict it or account for it, it just happens sometimes. And she recovered from it as smoothly as you possibly can.

Roy was a much better character when he was just an oblivious meathead. There was no reason to turn him into a jerk; the lack of chemistry between Pam and him was palpable.
