I currently live in Massachusetts, but having lived in Texas, I’m shocked to see it ranked well. Houston is by far the most appalling place I’ve ever lived for driver quality. Maybe the rest of the state compensates, but that seems unlikely.

Yeah, you are better doing a zipcar membership, but that’s still not great. When I was there if you wanted anything close to “normal” rental car rates, you were taking the train to Newark.
But why would you think autopilot implies fully autonomous? It isn’t on planes (it’s getting closer, but autopilots can be quite primitive as well.)
I think the “Autopilot” is misleading complaints are overblown, but yeah “Full Self Driving” has significantly more implications and this isn’t it. And calling it beta doesn’t excuse it, this would be weak even for an alpha product.
The SV-1 of course was not American-made, though all concede Canada often counts as America for the purposes of these things.
I know the passenger side mirror was optional on the 5th-gen Tercel, but I don’t know if that persisted all the way to the end of its run in 1999.
