Those also look to be the best two games of the season. There are some others that might be meaningful, but there’s no questions that the networks paying big money for the Sunday slots don’t want to give up their best games.

I’m not sure offense has really dropped off much, if at all. Yards per game is basically the same as 2018, and points per game is less than a point lower.

Problem is that in the US anyway, you need to protect you trademarks in order to keep them. If Nintendo sees this as beneficial the best thing to do would be to offer a free, and narrowly scoped license, but it’s often easier for companies just to shut things down.
