So, that “Built For Any Planet” thing, does Tesla consider Earth to be a planet? I’ve hit water crossings of that size in a Smart Fortwo without losing any parts. lol
Less will be imported and bought and other local items that don’t have tariffs will be bought or substituted. Most of these items are not necessities, so overall that same may be spent, just less items purchased. Inflation is caused by too much money chasing too few goods, tariffs don’t really change the first part…
She’s obviously mentally ill.
Some other helpful potential knowledge gap info, since misinformation is rampant in the news and on sites like Jalopnik:
There is an indicator that shows you which “gear” you are in. The screen also presents differently when in reverse vs the others. There are also backup sounds that start when you put the car in reverse. It’s not subtle at all.
There is feedback, especially when in reverse. The screen completely changes, and the backup sounds start. Its not a subtle change. These are the same people that press the accelerator when they meant the brake.
I agree that the screen shifter with no stalk is dumb. There is, however, still a physical gear shift in the Model X. It’s on the center console at the base of the wireless phone charging dock, straddling the physical hazard light button.
She put it in reverse instead of drive... on a vehicle she was familiar with? A vehicle thousands of other people drive daily without having that issue?
This is like reading about someone forgoing fire insurance to save a few bucks and them expecting sympathy when their house burns down. The lady gambled and now her estate is probably shredded paying off the bill, so that’s the way the cookie crumbles.
Me, reading first part of article: Wow, this is really messed up.
LMAO. Probably 90% of the country is nothing like NYC.
There it is. Typical New Yorker thinking the way things are in the city is how things are in the rest of the country.
Uh, me?
Sheesh, you’re unhinged man. Settle down.
Polarizing opinion is polarizing. You’re not going to lure me into commenting on this shit take. Nope. No way.
Imagine reading this and thinking, “Yep, I should post that.”
Hey it’s the “I am hating because I can’t afford it” take.
This is a pretty gate-keepery bad take. I thought you were all about letting the people enjoy their cars they way they want to.
In a sea of bad takes, this is undoubtedly your worst take.
