Well, Muck, one could argue that she was already brain damaged considering her (alleged) tailgating, road rage, and brandishing a gun in traffic. This is of course assuming she is the actual perpetrator and not an innocent person wrongfully detained.

I haven’t driven an AP1 so I couldn’t compare. As for the clutch and shifter, I would agree they’re wonderful, bordering on perfect. Suspension tune is spot on too. Of course, crappy snow belt pot holes and cracks are a problem.

Don’t get me wrong. I loved driving my S2000(s). I do think their wonderfulness turns towards unpleasantness when driving in my metro area traffic where a decent percentage of people are seemingly trying to kill you by either driving on my bumper or changing lanes into you because they don’t see you from the wee tiny…

Until you’ve driven a C6 or newer Corvette with a Tremec-6060, the S2000 WILL feel perfectly fine. Afterwards, not so much.
I’ve owned two AP2 S2000's over the years and loved them, EXCEPT, they are a royal pain in the ass as daily driver.
