Being skinny/thin (versus overweight/fat) also helps. Don’t think you wanna see me in my birthday suit! ;-)

I’ve always wondered, how much of a cat is a cat and how much is fur? They seem to be able to squeeze in and out of impossibly tight situations! Cat videos. :-)

Let’s not forget Pete from Texas response... it was “mostly Latinos” which I thought meant “Phew, no white men - no big deal about anyone else”.

I bought it last night from BB as well. Awesome game! I played on the “chicken shit” level. Still fun. :-)

$49.99 at BestBuy - just reserved it. At $40.00 US with exchange it’s about $5.00 more with taxes.

Looks like fun! There used to be one close to where I live (until the city tore up the entire roadway to make it wider, now it’s gone). I’d take my son on weekends when there was no traffic, speed up a bit and let the bump and gravity do the rest. :-)

Yes - this is very interesting. I sometimes see people bigger than me not even break out in a sweat. But I was born in Africa and lived in Canada since I was 2. My sweat glands are on Africa time...

Get off of social media, and stop reading stuff on LifeHacker or related Kinja sites. ;-) ...well, not really.

I don’t know if its hating numbers or math, so much as the apprehension of seeing the bill come in the mail and dealing with it. That is my problem, which results in not paying bills on time (even though I have the money to pay it off), and getting hit with interest charges and a hit against my credit report since

Don’t lend money. Ever. Especially to family. True story - “lent” my family $50k (through a line of credit). They cannot pay it back. Rolled it into my mortgage but am paying roughly $3k - $5k in interest per year for the last 5-years. Will I ever see them pay the money back, not a chance in hell. It’s set me back 5+

Yup - tried all that. Just not happening. Wonder if it’s doing some geolocation stuff and presenting the Canadian price (even though I’m on the .COM site). I’d try with VPN but don’t have it on my work PC. Oh well...

Very weird - just double-checked, and it is indeed the Kindle version.

Looks good - but it’s $6.18 - not $2.00 and I just checked...

Babies are never fine - I’ve been on flights with babies. It was not fine. My wife flew with her sister, who had twin babies. It was not fine. We never flew with our son when he was a baby, his first plane ride was around 3-years old, he was fine at that age.

...and it probably stinks like a car from the 70's with that musty odor. Uggh...

...my wife actually said lets save a lot of money and buy a domestic. If it turns out to be crap... well, we saved a ton to put towards repairs. Huh?! ;-)

I’ve only ever owned one domestic car and it was the worst car I ever had (Chevrolet Corsica). Battery had to be replaced every year. The alternator was rebuilt just as regularly. Worst. Car. Ever. After that fiasco I bought a Camry - in 10-years NOTHING wrong with it. An excellent car. Bought my wife a rebuilt

Hah! Not a PewDiePie fan - but did like that video. But then, I also do like watching the supercar videos... though, living in Vancouver they are like tin cans. There are dozens of Lambos’ Ferraris’ and now McLarens’ on the street - they don’t turn heads anymore. Seriously, they don’t. Well unless said car has been

As much as I detest going to CanadianTire - they do hire people that know their parts and many know the application of said parts. Very few people in the auto parts section working behind the counter that do not know their cars or parts.

Some of those make absolute sense - for example, networking. I’m terrible at it, partly because I’m an introvert and I’m at a place in my life and career that I’m tired of sucking up to anyone. My son on the other hand is a natural born networker and big time extrovert. You know those social experiments that you see
