Like the article says, you really need to be cautious. In Canada most of the dollar stores also carry brand name stuff, that’s put out by the distributor (i.e., pop [Coke/Pepsi], chips [Doritos]) who takes the old expired product and replaces with newer. I’ve never had stale chips or flat pop but I suspect it’s stuff…

A few years ago, everyone was up in arms over all the new charges airlines were tacking on... today, we’re quibbling over a 20% increase in a fee that never existed before. Where is the promised lower cost to travel? Oh yah - why give up profit when you can have your cake and eat it too?

Showed up a bit late - our issue is grocery, and eating out. We eat out as much as we spend on groceries (sometimes to the tune of $500.00/month on each category). I think we made headway last month, I only remember going out for lunch twice and we perhaps went out as a family 2 or 3 times.

If ever I could afford a supercar, it would be my day-to-day car. I mean why would I spend several hundred thousand (or million) dollars on a car only to be driven on the weekend? What’s the fun in that?

Sometimes I hate reading reviews, I can’t always make the decision whether I should buy the game or not. But given that I “grew-up” with DOOM waaaaay back when, I’ll probably end up spending the $80.00 to buy the game for the PS4.

Potato peels, and carrot peels are NOT GOOD for garbage disposals. I learned that the hard way. We just toss these into the recycle bin for organic items (compost).

I do this all the time, either with a baking sheet or large plastic cutting sheet/board. My wife hates it, but it’s so much easier to clean-up and toss the trimmings into the recycle/compost container.

My wife uses honey mixed with turmeric, and some black pepper. Other than tasting awful, she swears by it. Whenever she or our son gets the sniffles they start on it and by day 2 they are better. But of course, I’m sure the extra rest they get plays a big role as well. I of course grab the Advil or Tylenol.
