It didn't occur to me why she looked familiar somehow (I stopped watching Parenthood after the first season), but the Jared Leto:Ally Ioannides comparisons are all over twitter :)

*Inherent tension

So much of this season has neglected to build upon past character development. If I did not know any better, I would think that the show had new showrunners, but the Kings are still there. This could be the last season, but for the first time, I'm ambivalent about whether or not it survives. S7 in one word: Meh.

Reviewer typo—fish joke. I'd love a Wilson Fisk joke, but that's not in this show's writing staff's wheelhouse.

Definitely a challenge if we get a season 2: finding a replacement for David Tennant to play the antagonist? We have ample story breadcrumbs for IGH becoming the Big Bad—the "Wolfram & Hart" for Jessica Jones. I'm looking forward to it…

"The fights are the medicine that makes the exposition go down." Nicely put. (Chauvinistic isn't the right word for that pan up the Widow. I'd opt for lascivious.)

I felt invested in Grace Florrick this episode above all else. I knew Kelly Bishop was going to appear in this episode, but I still felt thrilled to see her, as I miss the Gilmore Girls terribly. (The Netflix revival should be glorious.)

Couple typos: "pin" should be "pine," "Fair" should be "fare."

Given that the co-creators are also writing and producing The Shannara Chronicles, I'm worried for the latter series. Also not bolstering my confidence is that their past projects include the screenplay for I Am Number Four and Smallville. Your mileage may vary.
Shane Hurlbut's work as the cinematographer, the

You meant Kelly Bishop. Emily Gilmore, otoh, we'll likely see again on Netflix sometime in 2016…

Point taken. Sure, but saving her in the context of the original series was meaningless. A tagline with nothing to back it up. (Someday, she'll give birth to the Twins of Fate!) Extended a bit further: why wouldn't Hiro jump to when Claire's inexplicably on the verge of death to intervene? "Too many butterflies" is

HRG's moving soliloquy to the sheet draped extra is the moment I realized I needn't have bothered watching the show. Of course HRG would check to see if something was blocking Claire's regeneration. Without Hayden Panettiere's participation in the show, the writers should have come up with a different plot.

"You can row." Great, but since there's only 1 oar left, row yourself, Jaha. Which he does anyway. Given the offer to compromise, and receive donated bone marrow rather than doom the people of Mount Weather to imminent irradiation, Cage's response? "I can't." Why not? Because the plot demanded it? What there is of a

I'd enjoy seeing Son of Coul petitioning Odin in Asgard to let Lady Sif join S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent fish out of water. Very Whedonesque.

The writing staff needs to improve. They could definitely benefit from a science advisor, too. Josh Friedman's joined the writing staff for Season 3 (Sarah Connor Chronicles), which should help tremendously. So maybe it will improve. When Mount Weather threatens again next season, I doubt I'll be watching to see how

I would not grade this as an A-. More like a D-. *The writers have painted themselves into a corner. Again.* Lexa's betrayal didn't make sense. The Grounders retreating from attacking Mount Weather just leaves them at future risk of reprisal. They'll never have a better chance to eliminate the threat of Mount Weather.

The return of gangsta Gloria with the handgun. I also appreciated the callback to Fantasy Island with “The plane The plane!”

Nice to see Caleb (from ep. 2x11, 2 Pi R) return. Nice use of the show's stable of past Numbers. In a past episode, Dominic referenced being a student with Finch as the substitute teacher, too, though the actor wasn't in that episode.

Watching Agent Carter legally, engaging online, and actually purchasing Agent Carter via iTunes/Amazon, Live+3 & Live+7 Day ratings will be taken into consideration for a renewal decision. Will it be enough? Fingers crossed. Watch early, re-watch often!
