I haven't been this annoyed with the concluding arc of a series since Starbuck became an angel. Well, it limped to a conclusion. Lazy storytelling indeed. Next series to look forward to at the end of April: the adaptation of American Gods. That should be quite a ride. Just re-read the novel. Highly recommended.

So Grimm finally has a Monster of the Week that's a toxic avenger. When Nick took an axe to the wesen, I thought, "Oh no, Toxie!" Given that this is the final season, I'm concerned with the filler ep., but let's face it, the show's always leavened the serious w/the silliness.

Best exchange of the season: “I’m the man your daddy stabbed in the back.” “No, that was Mr. Bonaparte.”

When Margo referenced Conan, I began to recite along with her, awestruck that this was in the script. I love Margo. This series is growing on me.

Right, which also invalidates the tagline. The writers lost interest in continuity, and the viewership declined…we would have been better off not watching them paint themselves into a corner.

So sad that the show's ended. If I wrote fanfic, I'd have Shaw find Genrika Zhirova [Razgovor 3x05] and train her to be a spy.

Dany had to go and burn through the Meereenese Knot

How fitting, the confirmation of R+L=J on Mother's Day? Psych! Those bastards…

Next up: Tower of Joy. Yaaas!

I think the casting dept. was going for a Children of the Corn vibe.

How can Black Claw keep Diana in check? Using her as leverage on her parents could backfire spectacularly. Can't wait.

Now I want another season of The Sarah Connor Chronicles…

The main thing I'd like to see happen is the return of the old Blaine. I'm curious if the show will go that route. Fortunately we'll get a season 3 to find out.

Most of the characters remain extremely unlikeable. Still more tolerable than the ones in Fear the Walking Dead, however.

I was thinking during that battle magic segment "Man, couldn't one of them have brought a gun?" [Margo shoots.] "I love Margo!"

The only time we'll see Peggy Carter again is in Agents of Shield flashbacks, given the ratings. Spinoff "Marvel's Most Wanted" might just be a TV movie rather than a series to fill next season's AoS mid-season hiatus, but I'd prefer an Agent Carter S3.

I feel more invested in the actions of Elspeth and Eli than in the rest of the characters combined. Even the NSA geek squad is more interesting. Sad. I'm rooting for this to be the Final Season. Even if the misdirects were more successful at subverting viewer expectations, the show is locked in a downward spiral.

My expectations are lowered with each new episode. Decades ago, Brooks' Shannara books disappointed readers for being derivative of Tolkien, now viewers can feel disappointed for the muddling of Brooks' work and imitation of Game of Thrones. E.g., anyone else see a resemblance in the bath scene to the shot from S3x05

The Widow is wearing too much plot armor to die.

This is a very cutthroat version of Settlers of Cataan.
