Agent Carter is balanced on a knife edge regarding renewal. I hope ABC green lights a 2nd batch of 8 episodes, to establish S.H.I.E.L.D. and plant story ideas that bear fruit in the modern day AoS & the May 2016 release of Captain America: Civil War. (An appeal to marketing synergy!)

Already did. Unfortunately they made killing the 48 donors a main plot point for the season (and it's canon that they've been killing the grounders before that). They're already working on scripts for season 3 at this point.

The virus that Finch wrote is not tied to the deletion sequence. Watch the episode again. It is a plot hole that the writing staff has chosen to ignore (for now). You're right that the Machine's capabilities would seem to indicate that it was not hampered by the deletion every night—but as they stated clearly in the

A fitting end for a cylon…

Note to The 100 writing staff: bone marrow extractions, killing them, is unnecessary, as bone marrow regenerates…I'm really rooting for them to retain a science advisor soon.

I disagree. The virus and the deletion sequence are unrelated.

Those deletions happen every night. As they established in Season 2, they would need physical access to the Machine to modify the code. A plot hole that the writing staff has ignored, for now.

I thought the fixer was going to turn out to be the same guy that menaced Finch during the 911 dispatcher episode, but he would have recognized Finch straight away and promptly attempt to kill him…he's one of those loose threads out there in the mythos of the show. Then there's the plot hole of how does the Machine

Well, for the writing staff to be unaware that bone marrow regenerates (and make that a major plot point) or that gorillas are vegetarian doesn't fall under scifi. It's laziness. They can do better and do some research. But it's the CW.

The 100 reminds me of Golden Age SF—most of which doesn't hold up well. Btw, I like your user name…

Another reason The 100 badly needs a science advisor next season (or at least a writing staff that does research): gorillas are vegetarian.

Well, that doctor *is* pretty evil. But she should be well aware that bone marrow regenerates. Based on the dialogue, it's evident that the writing staff didn't bother to do any research, and made harvesting the 47's bone marrow by killing them a main plot point. It's a frustrating plot hole. (That and their magical

I hope the show hires a science consultant for next season. It hurts my head that they based a main plot point around the idea of harvesting bone marrow completely, thereby killing the patient, when, er, actually bone marrow regenerates within a month. Then there's the miraculous rapid evolutional trait developed in

Since Odette Annable wasn't upgraded to series regular, I suspected Nola's days were numbered. Nice homage to Khal Drogo. But why wouldn't Nola simply shoot the guy when the tide turned against her? (Because the plot demanded it.) A disservice to a smart character.

Taken (2002) and The Lost Room (2006) are up on YouTube. Those have stood up well.

Good suggestion. The YouTube episodes are viewable in the U.S.

Wong and Chen are the best things about the show. They have the acting chops to transcend the material. The adage “If it's not on the page,it's not on the stage" is valid. I agree, it's cinematography is strong, but the dialogue is uneven in quality.

"…Phil and Claire scan the room for clues to prove Alex is pulling a Keyser Söze…" that's the same thing I was thinking! I agree, Burrell and Bowen's comic timing was pretty slick in that scene. Poor Alex. Her character deserves better than this.

They had the NSA analyst, Henry Peck, lay everything out for Fusco in the interrogation room (Ep. 1x22) and he brushed it off: "He should be wearing a tinfoil hat." Poor Fusco…

Having watched the 5th season up to the current episode, I believe it should be subtitled "Lady Edith Continues to Make Bad Decisions."
