These AMC stories are sounding more and more like MoviePass circa 2019.

Sonnenfeld wasn’t a *creep*. He was just an asshole. A mistake wasn’t “Hey, this isn’t right...”, it was “What the fuck is wrong with you?!”

He’s like Bret Ratner in that when you hear about them being dirtbags you can see it coming a mile away but also don’t know why they were considered valuable enough to protect. Like does anyone get excited when they see Rob Fucking Cohen in the credits? Has he made anything that would have been less successful with

That’s a bummer to hear. Sonnenfeld helped get “The Tick” off the ground, and that show has a giant place in my heart.

Although that place is sized almost entirely in the shape of Batmanuel.

“To me it’s the exact same thing as Gina Carano”

HE’S THE ONE SUING OVER IT?

1). I don’t remember exactly when I saw my first MyPillow commercial, but the second I did I knew in my heart that the insane weirdo conman starring in it was a Trump supporter.

Doesn’t everyone get into bed before 8:00 PM and watch Brady Bunch re-runs? That’s not weird at all.

Disney owns Hulu too, which is where it is. If I had to guess why it’s on Hulu rather than Disney+, it’s because there’s a whole lot more talk about butts and bodily fluids than The Simpsons.

warner’s strategy is looking smarter and smarter, unfortunately.

One of the best bits of The Muppets was when they did Nirvana as a barber shop quartet. That’s the Muppets. That’s where you need to go.

“I FEEL THE EARTH! MOVE! UNDER MY FEET! I SEE THE SKY TUM-BEL-ING DOWN TUM-BEL-ING DOWN!” ~ Loretta Swit (of the “if you can’t sing good, sing loud school of music), The Muppet Show, Ep 502

“Five essential episodes” implies they aren’t all essential, which is patently absurd.

A lot of movie clips. Every time Gonzo opened the closet there would be a random film clip, including Star Wars and Raiders. That’s why the King of Cartoons stuck to public domain cartoons whenever he visited Pee-Wee. He knew the game.

De-hibernate me then.

As a warmup I’d recommend Muppets Now, it’s actually a decent modern update of the originals I thought. Swedish Chef vs. Danny Trejo is a highlight imho

his insistence on using the service so much leads me to believe he’s an investor.

Snyder is the wish stone.

This is sad.
