Despite my love of Catherine O’Hara and Eugene Levy, I avoided this show for a while, mainly because the title turned me off. But last year after it got nominated for some Emmys, my wife and I tried it and then plowed through five seasons in about 10 days.

I would guess Disney would do a VOD release and then put it on Hulu or Disney+, unless they are contractually obligated to do a theatrical release 

It might mean the end of a particular release model, for sure. Avengers and Star Wars and Mulan all have budgets north of $200 mil, with $100 mil in marketing. They HAVE to open in 4000 screens and gross a billion worldwide to make money. Those movies aren’t going to appear on VOD on release day.

This is pretty good casting, although the ideal choice would have been Bruce Campbell about 25 years ago.

The second one is better than the first one, honestly. There’s great Loki scenes in 2 and the finale - fighting while falling through the world portals - is very cool.

I watched the Netflix documentary series, Tiger King. And oh my goodness, it is spectacular. It is six hours of pure WTF madness.

Really, that should be if you have a box of wine, tip it.

It’s fine for Universal to put Invisible Man and The Hunt on premium VOD. They are low budget films that have recouped their money, and by the time theatres reopened in late April - early May they’d be pushed out for the summer films. They will make more profit this way, even though I’ve seen lots of people grumble on…

Because of the way proportional way delegates are assigned, it’s almost impossible to catch up when trailing by this much. The primaries are not Winner Take All. The winner gets more, but as long as you clear a 15% vote threshold you get some.
