Couldn’t watch the 2nd half, had to just keep refreshing Google. I don’t know why I love sports so much since all it does it make me super anxious...

Excuse my language, but FUCKING. FINALLY. I’ve read and seen so much about this case and it’s so insanely infuriating. Shame he’ll probably not serve much time due to age, but still. FI.NA.LLY. Rot in hell, Feit.

They’re not, not at all, and I think that’s why the few Sens fans I know are always angry. Most of them are former Leaf fans, too, which leads to a lot of this:

“Howmany times is someone charged with a sex crime a repeat offender, because he/she served very little time, if any at all?”

No worries, of course!

I know sentences aren’t necessarily a deterrent to crime (obviously), but by treating sex crimes as actual CRIMES, and creating a change in society that lets victims know that they have rights instead of being afraid of cops not taking them seriously, people not taking them seriously, that the crime committed against

“afew missed games here and there won’t do much to stop him”

Ironically, sure, I guess.

I mean, *I* didn’t wanna SAY it, but...

It’s a pretty great unintentional troll job, I have to admit; one which would only be enjoyed by people more were the teams in both sports reversed.

I had no idea that we hate Calgary. I know we’re not fond of Edmonton because...well, for lots of reasons, but Calgary’s always seemed alright. Anyway, GO TICATS!

Fucked up, but so good with Radiohead blaring for the last few minutes of the episode. Chills.

Raging homophobe.

I did not know that.

I feel like this will be overturned so my joy will be shortlived, but I hated that the NHL wasn’t going to the Olympics but the KHL could, which would most likely result in Russian gold and Russians claiming to be the best in the world even though their opponents would essentially be random amateurs instead of what

“What We Lose” was beautiful. If you enjoyed it, I’d recommend “Someone You Love is Gone” by Canadian author Gurjinder Basran - similar themes, bit more involved, also very touching.

I had the same response to it, but I did most of my digging here (if you are already aware of the site, my apologies): https://openlibrary.org

I never watched her youtube channel but for some reason I enjoyed her Netflix show. But I think 2 seasons of it is plenty.

“Inthe current climate of innuendo and unjustifiable reporting”

I haven’t understood anything since McKinley went down...
