Nope, the Akrapovic exhaust is a genuine Akra catback offered as an OEM option in Europe (its been offered on the MK7.5 as well). It’s a $4000+ option fwiw and very unlikely to make it to the states.

I got a good deal on my GTI 7.5 right before the covid price boom. I probably would have upgraded to an R by now but the deals are gone. So, once I’m out of warranty I guess I’ll get a tune to make it “new” (to me) again.
The smartest thing the oil companies ever did was to invent the term “Carbon Footprint” and shift the pollution blame to individuals.
I mean, other celebs manage to fly commercial and not turn it into a shitshow.
I come here for news and information about the automotive world and not for your personal opinions on every story.
I would agree but history has shown us that cops are not held accountable and when they are people like you complain and say it is unfair and they were just doing their job.
What’s the reason for police to need to be driving ON the actual beach, a place where people are likely to be lying down in the sand and difficult for a truck to see?
Yes, and as any psychiatrist will tell you, people who participate in “Risk Exercises” ( like racing) are some of the most memtally stable on earth... They know their limits and enjoy a life unfettered by the worries and problems that plague many people.
I agree with this line of thought. These riders are not crazy. Call them otherworldly or crazy talented, maybe even very comfortable with risk, but none of those things make a person crazy.
Potentially unpopular opinion here - VW manuals have always felt like crap, including in the GTI. Awkward clutch engagement with a rubbery shifter with too long of a throw. I like the driving and handling dynamics of those cars, and would prefer to have them with the DSG if I owned one.
Some law of numbers means sales cannot increase at ridiculous high rates of growth every year forever.
I think it looks very modern and distinctly different than the first gen, which had only been out for 7 years and really only mainstream for about 5 years. Being one of the best selling cars in the US and the world even before the refresh, I think people are liking it just fine.
I hate them and will not promote that kind of travel, most people I know do not want to actually go someplace where they are not taken care of and want to just be in someplace warm but still little ‘merica.
On a side note, why do people book cruises on these massive ships? The whole point is to get away from the city, what’s the point if you’re bringing the entire city with you?
I don’t cruise, but have watched enough travel videos from those who do to understand that the design of modern cruise ships make it VERY hard to just “fall”. Every railing, ledge, balcony, etc. is at least chest-high for an average-sized adult - some are more than head-high. The conclusion they all point to is that…
Trump is such an amazing turd. It’s amazing what you can do with a bunch of fascist billionaire backers and a army of mouth breathing goobers.
How is Porsche not more popular in the replies? Toyota in the standard of reliability and nothing else. The driving experience and materials are awful and the only reason 90% of buyers put up with them is because the cars run forever and the owner hates driving anyway.
I bought a year sooner than planned, because the rent, price, and interest increases meant that I was constantly being further from being able to afford to buy. Even if my savings went from, say, 62 to 70 K, the required cash on hand went from 95 to 105. Had to borrow money from a friend; nice to have that as an option…
More roundabouts. We need more roundabouts.
I can’t wait for the housing bubble to burst.
