Very good points. I will add that it is always good to go on an (empty) parking lot full of snow if your car is new. It gives you a good feel how the car reacts in difficult situation.

Finally someone who knows about F1 and see the real reason why Andretti has been denied entry. It is not an anti-US thing (I understand it feels shitty). I did work for a car manufacturer. They ALL do it. Back in my day, the manufacturer I worked for was buying audi A6 to study its aluminium structure.

To me it looks like they still had room to get out by the trunk or the back doors. I get it if the car would have been swallowed entirely but in that position, I don’t buy the manual window system saved their lives.
