Aerodynamic sealing of the windows is a difficult issue. As mentioned, erosion is an issue. Beyond that, when you replace a wind typically you are looking at a 24 hour cure at nominal conditions. Longer if the humidity is high.

I'd go with something like this.

That is a flap fairing. It doesn't carry loads and is just there as an aerodynamic efficiency improvement. That big beefy structure you see that looks like a beam is the flap track. That is important. Not that you ever want parts falling off, but that part isn't that critical.

if you look at the bottom right corner of the video you can see people standing right by the fence. That spot is deigned for the 500 when the cars are going the other way. Pretty safe that way.

Time frame is a bit longer than 1-2 days for a truck sized hole. Maybe a week to make stringers and frames since you have to source
