This brings back memories of riding on the metal rack of my Dad’s old Trail 90.

Seriously. I’d love to be able to fit 35s on my 4Runner without UCAs, Spacers, chopping the body mount, and cutting the fenders...
My roommate had (and still has)a ‘97 T-100. Great size for a truck. It just rolled over 320k miles. He's rolled it ones, and it's still going on it's original engine. Never even had the head off of it.
Thats my take. I love how they do it on the fiesta and focus. It's real engine sound. Not speakers.
The Jimney actually does have dual solid axles.
They’d never be able to get a car that small to pass modern safety tests. I’ve seen a few here in Utah running around on surface streets, registered as street-legal side-by-sides.
Exactly. A capable, reliable, and efficient offroader for $20k? Id be so down. The amazing lime green color is a bonus.
If it’s really a Jimney competitor, (solid axles) I’d be excited. But it will likely be another FWD-based crossover....
But this is also terribly suited for commercial clients. Think how hard it will be to attach ladder racks and tool boxes, and it’s impossible to swap the bed for a custom setup like a cherry picker or flatbed.
Grind hard plumbing is dropping a supercharged snowmobile motor into a triumph!
Holy crap. I've always had fond memories of Lego racers (I can still remember the menu music on the build screen) but I totally forgot about the flash game.
Maybe I’m just spoiled living in Utah!
I love mud! But every time I go through a puddle, I think about the 2 hours I’ll spend on my back spraying the mud off the undercarriage. Now, I only go through if its the only way around...
In 2010 I bought a ‘99 V6 2wd Dakota with 96,000 miles and a 5 speed. Loved that truck. The previous owner, an older retired gentleman, had added ana nice exhaust as well. Drove great and would slide sideways like a sports car, but in 5 years it blew out power steering, water pump, a rear diff, and a whole ECU.
Ive loved living in Utah, because nobody uses Craigslist, in favor of the local news site KSL. However, FB marketplace is quickly becoming my go-to.
‘05 4Runner here. Love this feature, until I forget it and suck in a gallon of dust, or lose a Charcoal somewhere near Bryce Canyon...
Ive driven a 5th gen, and I honestly prefer the interior of my 2005 4th gen. The 5th is way to overbuilt and chunky. Mine is so much more functional and comfortable
While what happened was tragic, there was never any proof it was the offroad community. In fact, that picture was taken previously, and they retracted their statement saying it was off-roaders that did the damage.
Ive had a hitch save my in a rear-end accident twice! Both were at less than 10mph, and saved me from an annoyance insurance claim
Love getting a look at the canguro truck every chance i get!
