Who cares about Waldo? I always had more fun looking at all of the random, and often time naughty jokes strewn throughout each of those books.

My advice, and bear in mind... I'm not exactly a poster child for success lol.
If you want to get into the industry, it has its upsides, as well as the oft mentioned downsides. Probably the biggest one for me, is the sheer number of friends and contacts I've made throughout the years. Once you've got a good networking…
Yeah I saw that, but like most of this story, we need to know more details to make any solid judgment calls. It's possible he just didn't know how to interview for a different industry. The process is vastly different between industries.
The only field that is really tough to transition from gaming to the business…
I love this exchange, you guys are arguing about agreeing lol ;)
I get all of that. And I'm not posting here telling them what they should have done. I was simply speculating on why that seemed like an unwise series of decisions. As others have noted, there are a lot of other options to get out of a situation like that.
LMAO
Riot released a lengthy statement about the recent revelations that a League of Legends team manager had threatened one of his players this morning. The company's explanation of its investigation and the ensuing discussion on the League subreddit are both worth reading for fans of the game and eSports followers.
It just sounded like the guy really only wanted to work in games. Which as anyone who has ever worked in this industry knows, is a highly unstable field. He could take his skill to any number of industries with much better salaries, working conditions, benefits, etc.
Yeah that part really irked me personally. I was kind of like... wait what?? Really!?
I'm in exactly the position you just mentioned. Like I've been doing the same thing for almost two decades now. It pays the bills, but I really want to do something else. And as for the husband in this story, I'm not suggesting he go "learn" a new trade to make a living, just take what he's already doing, and do it…
Every time we accepted a job offer, we were offered promises of stability and plenty of funding. We were told about the "project after this one," and no offer was given as temporary, or "for this project only." Instead of companies asking us if we'd stay for the long haul, we began asking them instead.
Yep Helix is run by Abstergo. They change history as they see fit.
I loved them both. But I also played the Naval mini games almost the entire time I played ACIII. So I might be a little biased towards enjoying the naval combat.
I did not experience any extreme lag or pop-in in my 100+ hours playing on PS4.
I really don't understand the hate for Unity. I rented it a few weeks ago, and enjoyed the hell out of the time I spent in it. I even found myself doing a lot of co-op missions, something I rarely do in today's games. I loved, I mean really loved the changes to the free climbing, and the attention to detail was…
You say that like, it's a bad thing.
This piques my interests. TY for sharing.
But won't they just "fix" those games of skill like every state carnival ever?
Hmmmmm... it looks like a fun, dumb popcorn action flick. But it once again really doesn't feel like Hitman to me. For one, 47 is not a villain, and he is not a hero. If anything he would fall into the anti-hero role.
And if you are playing Hitman like a GTA game, running around shooting everything up, you are playing…
I normally balk at people who spend so much time and energy on something that I would personally consider a waste of time. But in the case of Shadow of the Colossus, it totally makes sense. And I too revisited the game a number of times to try to get a better understanding of the mythos and back story.
I never could…
