I am sadly way out of date. Was there any substantial additions since last December? That was the last time I fired up Starbound.

This one also has some great bits! Straight out of Cybertron!

I didn't know Rob Halford was a game dev!?

Oh you again, don't you have something to go be angsty over? Oh wait... you are. You're angsting over my random link. ;)

People often post related games on articles. It's nothing new, and it's a nice way to share some of your favorite games with people who probably never heard of them before.

One of the best Submarine exploration games ever made:

I applaud him for doing this, but it seems silly anyone would expect a fully functional, bug-free (tm) game from Steam EARLY ACCESS.

Also this game looks positively right up my alley, and I have been waiting for more news of it for a long while now.

I understand that, and yes I am pushing 40 now, but I'm also aware of the climate of the past, as compared to that of today. And today, we are seeing an all time high in young people having mental breaks and going on mass murder sprees. It happens every few months now. When I was a kid in the 80's, and teen in the

Hmmm... wouldn't Tycho be disqualified, as that was licensed for the game? Or are you talking about any music in a game? Not just original compositions.

I'm going off of the teaser. I'm not casting judgment entirely until I see the full thing. With that said, what little they have shown looks completely unnecessary in this day and age of increasingly unstable and desensitized children. I'm not calling for a boycott, or a ban, I simply wish the game ceased to exist

GTA, and almost every other violent game with civilian deaths, give the player CHOICE. Hatred does not seem to give the player any other options than to shoot/torture/maim everything.

Also I completely agre with your last statement. The less I see of this POS on Kotaku the better. Also apparently the devs have ties to

I'm pretty sure DICE did not want the player to ever use guns in the game. Which is why they are so useless to Faith. The disarming procedure was a bit wonky, but once you get used to it, it's not that hard. I often hear this argument against Mirror's Edge, and I can never agree, because, yes it is frustrating the

Read more of the comments. Both postal games have more to them than simply murdering everyone. I believe part of the challenge of the series was completing missions without slaughtering civilians.

I completely and totally agree with you, but sadly that just doesn't happen. Those kids who go on murder sprees, generally have HORRIBLE, inattentive parents.

You guys are all missing the point. There are very few games where the player is REWARDED for murdering non-combatants. The option to do it exists in most combat oriented games, but it is either actively discouraged, not addressed, or the game will punish the player for offing innocents.

And even in the games where it

No, I'm speaking as a gamer, who general is not bothered by graphic, or extreme content in games. Something about this game just sets off a thousand red flags. Like these devs are going to be personally responsible for some fucked up, socially inept, lonely, sad and angry kid to pick up a firearm and go on yet

It's not though. The devs pretty much explicitly state what the game is about. Murdering the innocent for "fun".

I generally agree with you, but I can say that from what I have seen of this game, and the posts from its devs. This game would be socially irresponsible to release. And Steam made a good call. There is nothing remotely redeeming about Hatred in my eyes, as of yet.

Yes, and I completely agree

Hey I feel you on the stress relief values of a little GTA murder spree. Been there done that. But people like ourselves can separate fiction from reality. As has been demonstrated time and time again over the past decade or so, young people are really starting to lose their minds, and blurring reality and fiction

Exactly! Manhunt felt like a classic Bronson Death Wish style 70's Grindhouse revenge flick. Manhunt 2, I never played so I can't say much about it.
