I'll tell you what, I've played some pretty fucked up games in my time. Manhunt, is among my favorite Stealth games of all time, for example.

I cracked up at Postal I & II, while still feeling a little unnerved by the whole affair. Yet I managed to stick it out and finish the game. I've done my fair share of homicidal

I meant that there are a variety of items you can buy, but as you pointed out, are useless, unless you have gamefaqs. Fun Fact: in 1990 when I played RCR, we didn't have gamefaqs. ;)

Favorite Loot System: Coins

Game: River City Ransom

Very well said.

What I'm saying is that when you hold on, when you power through it all, it will be worth it.

That's true... by getting an Orc into a weakened state, you can grab him and perform an actual execution. The combo Circle + Triangle (on PS4), does not always cause a decapitation.

Duh, you ARE a Wraith in the game, of course it is haunted. Calling an excorcist, would just make the game unplayable right? :P

I'm kind of torn on this game. I picked up a PS4 this weekend finally, and this was the game I wanted to play the most, so I bought a digital copy.

At first I was super digging it, and found it to be a nice challenge, along the lines of Dark Souls. One of those games where playing carefully is the easiest way not to

Wow, I had so many Construx as a kid, but back in the 80's they were like all Light Grey with Blue panels.

This looks to be more traditional Sci-Fi, where No Man's Sky is like Sci-Fi by way of 70's Prog Rock album covers. It's a much more visually random game from what we can tell so far.

ALL 19 OF THEM!!!

Slamming has changed me as a Borderlands player. Now I slam all the time. I slam against packs of deranged sawblade-waving baddies, I slam against elite-level foes who'd pop my recharging shield like a plump grape otherwise. I slam against bosses (if they're not flying). I slam in the grocery store produce aisle. I

Why isn't this one in the Numbers sub-blog?

First, thank you for sharing your story. It's fascinating to hear about how people from mixed upbringings deal with culture shock both home and abroad.

On a slightly related note, I am so stoked to see more and more mixed ethnicity humans on this planet. I truly feel that the fastest way to squash racism as a whole,

Anything that looks post-50's can not be referred to as being similar to Fallout. All tech in that series is based on an alternate-history Atomic Age style. Lots of streamlined, tireless vehicles. Fins galore. Fuzzy Dice probably...

This on the other hand, could very well be compared to Fallout:

To completely write off an entire scene of people based on your personal interactions with less than 1% of them, is pretty douchey dude. I grew up with Goth and Industrial kids, I used to be into the Deathrock/Post-Punk side of the broader scene. Some of the greatest people I've met in my 37 years on the planet came

We've had good movie tie in games for a looooooong time:

It really depends on the remixer/producer. Some people make due with fruity loops or garageband. Others use Logic Pro, or Ableton Live. I mainly use Ableton Live, with a shit ton of VST's.

Some people have to wear sandals. It's not by choice. Especially if they have eczema, or other skin disorders which get exasperated from being cut off from open air.... which you'd be surprised are very common.

The Black Socks and Sandals though... just no.
