You lose all credibility when you start calling a woman ugly.

We don’t know that the colonies are actually radioactive, only that Gilead says they’re radioactive. I don’t think anything we’ve seen on the show confirms Gilead’s story. The women in the colonies could easily be suffering from a combo of unsanitary food/water and overwork, not radiation posioing.

Wasn't the Martha in Emily’s house (the one who was executed) white?

Too many people expect The Handmaid’s Tale to be a salve for every political issue we’re facing. That’s not really how narrative works. A TV show needs a scope and IMO the creators have chosen a scope that works for their medium and run time. At the end of the day, including too much in a show will only make it

Yeah, but killing that woman was a good strategic move. The handler was on the way of the mission. That’s why Carolyn isn’t even a little bothered by it.

Literally the only reason why I’m reading these comments.

Natoti, Freya, and Panache are my favorites (32ddd here). They aren't cheap, but you can usually find discontinued styles on sale for less than VS prices.

Your band should do most of the heavy lifting. If your straps keep slipping, you probably need a smaller band. Nordstrom has a great lingerie department as do many smaller stores. They can do a proper measurement and not the add six inches BS.

Yes, who would actually pay for a TV show they enjoy? The horror. Those $10/month during the months the shows I like are on. How will I survive?

It’s not really an actor’s job to make a movie good. It’s their job to be good in the scene and the role. The overall quality of the movie is mostly out of their hands.

I mean, I know literally no one who watched Daredevil IRL. That has no reflection on its popularity. My friends and family just don't watch "gritty" Netflix shows.

There's no lack of criticism about 13 Reasons Why.

I’ve never seen Lost so I can’t tell if you're trolling or serious.

New adult was actually a huge indie publishing phenomen. Back in 2012-2013ish, it filled a big hole in the market books that were like YA—first person, deep POV, more angst/ emotional issues (all romance is about emotional issues, but NA issues are more Degrassi like, for lack of a better term)--but with older

IRL, yes. But this is a TV show where a costume designer makes every single wardrobe choice. Everything the actors are wearing is intentional.

Eh, I’ve seen many doctors about meds and therapy and only one has ever treated my desire to stay off SSRIs/my side effects on them like they mattered. That’s what most doctors/medical professionals are like.

Sometimes they do though. Numbness is a very common side effect of SSRIs. I’m glad the show is presenting medication as a valid option, but I wish the song had given more weight to side effects. SSRIs have terrible side effects for lots of people and medical professionals often brush then off. To also have this

I’m not here for the suggestion that body positivity isn’t for everyone. You can’t dislude thin or straight sized women and keep it body positivity. That’s basically saying all smaller people must feel good about their bodies and all larger people must feel bad about their bodies.

Yes and no. It’s true that you’ll lose weight if you eat less than you burn, but it’s not true you can simply cut calories without any other side effects. What and how much you way and whether or not you’ve lost or gained weight—all of that effects how many calories you burn.

What about the least twenty years of covers? Non-category romance covers don’t look anything like they did in the Fabio era. If anything, traditional publishers are still putting out 50SoG style covers (though that is waning).
