Yea and no. There aren’t covers that look like these anymore, not for non-category books. There are still little of embracing couples and half-naked dudes, but the popular design style is more minimalist.

Eh, AK is also an authority figure and lawyer, an a corrupt lawyer at that (though it’s been awhile since she’s tried a case).
This show has always been a soap that happens to have a diverse cast, with the exception of Annaliese. I have a different perspective after watching all of Scandal during the break (please do not make the same mistake. It has all the same problems this show does, turned up to 11, with far fewer relatable characters).
Bansky is totally in love with Holden. That’s why he’s all queer panic homophobic over the top about how much he loves the ladies. It’s like the climax of the movie.
It’s possible the friend he asked was not invited because Samantha doesn't like them. It's not probable, but it's possible.
I think he needs to discuss her behavior if he’s planning to bring future GFs into their group. He could also play it by ear and see if she’s more chill about the next GF.
This one dragged a little, but I loved seeing Lilian rise to power as a gang leader. It’s a perfect alt reality for her.
I like the premise of someone who missed out on adolescence and the last 15 years of the world. It’s a classic fish out of water scenario, but through the twisted lens of a horrible traumatic event.
That is a thing people say. The way the episode presents it, it’s clearly an absurd reaction to Me too.
Yeah, the very fact that Lilian is saying it underscores how absurd it is.
Yes, and other people are allowed to dislike it.
They’re different enough to be bad, but not different enough to be interesting.
Counterpoint: no it’s not.
I would like to read this Tutuola/Munch fanfiction you speak of.
That hasn’t stopped Apatow movies from making $$$. I don’t like the guy’s comedy but I can’t deny it’s a very financially successful model.
I don't know if that's true. I didn't see it bc I didn't like the first Ghost Buster's, so why would I watch another one, but I recall 99% of the discussion being complaints about the cast being women. It was weird because there's nothing shoot the premise that suggests the Ghost Busters need to be men.
Yes, that popular stereotype of the black guy with a French accent.
Any sort of (half) elf sorcerer would generally be chaotic.
Alison Brie is great on Glow, but I don’t see anything brave or revolutionary about her performance.
Why do we act like condoms don’t work? They’re very effective birth control.
