Modern day self-flagellation. Lemmings.

I've been using powerline networking at 85Mbps for a while now, and it kills wireless. If I can get 400Mbps through coax, I'm in. Bye, bye, wireless.

@appletoad: Flat on the screen is less likely to shatter. If it lands on a corner, it will shatter easily. Still this is the dumbest test I've ever seen.

@Faxmonkey: That's incorrect. It's likely that the stereo image would be processed on the client -before- transmission, resulting in no greater bandwidth than a single feed. Compression, however, may play havoc with the stereo effect.

@Kirril: The data exists. And a motivated party will gain access. That is all that I'm saying. Your user ID cross-referenced with the location data is something that can be called into court. Yesterday, this wasn't so simple. So go ahead... give up your rights, for custom backgrounds and multi-tasking. Just

@monstermax: They aren't watching you, but they are collecting the data. And later on, at any time, someone else can access the data and prove you were or were not where you were supposed to be. If you're comfortable with that, fine.

@Alex Price: why not let the consumer choose? Wait... we're talking about Apple.

This film's biggest liability is M. Knight Shamalama Ding-Dong. He hasn't made a movie that even approached 'good' since The Sixth Sense.

@jetRink: That's what I don't get. Why are you bothered because someone isn't experiencing the questionable benefits of something you seem to love? I truly don't care what people do... hell, I smoke, but the last thing I'm going to do is tell people they shouldn't avoid smoking because silly doctors say it's bad for

@jetRink: Caffeine alters brain chemistry and has been shown to be more addictive than cigarettes or even heroine. If sombody doesn't need it, why are you so gung-ho to get 'em on board?

@Andy Mesa: I dare you to be able to tell the diff between 1.5 and 2 lbs, if you had one in each hand. Further, I would dare you to be able to tell the diff between 1024x768 and 1024x600, if you were staring at them. And ¥50,000 is about $550. Certainly comparable to the iPad, considering nobody is walking away

I see this as massively more useful than an iPad, and most likely way less expensive. All depends on the quality of the apps. Wish it had a gig of ram, though.

What kind of a bottle do you put that in?

@geolemon: Thing is, we know fusion is possible. Just look at that yellow thing in the sky.

Props for the Atari 7800 'Z'

@jonnyversusrobots: "Still, the end of the PS2 lifecycle included network play via an add-on peripheral, which foreshadowed network play as a huge feature of the current generation. So this may be setting Sony up for future success."

@kuba.la: It's not that we don't understand it, heck, it's one of the most popular sports for kids k-12. It's just that watching 90 minutes of anything where there will likely be no score makes us sleepy.

@UrukJedi: Yes, but it's meant to look like it's still under construction to fool the Rebels into a full on attack, where they will ultimately be ambushed. Probably.
