If you can’t read between the lines of this story about a shitty celebrity coming into an unethically low-paying job and complaining about the location’s low sales numbers on his trash merch, then I’d argue that you’re more likely the person who’s never done retail work. That wouldn’t be fun for anyone but the largest

Every single person he annoyed had something better to do than help him make more money.  Fuck this guy.

In the real world, hiring for diversity gets you just as much merit, plus a breadth of background and perspective you wouldn’t otherwise get.

Spotted the 800 SAT-scoring loser.

As a dad of two young boys, this drives me crazy. Just fucking live and don’t hurt anyone. Nothing else. You want to play Tetris? Fucking play it until your fingers bleed. You want to ride your bike? Ride it. I will never understand people’s need to downplay a kid’s (or an adult’s) passions. My parents had me second

She was talking about a documentary, not Star Wars. There were no actors.

A director stating they like making men uncomfortable in a franchise that has a fan base made of a majority of men is stupid.

Yes it is you.

While I get you, on the other hand this level of extreme fandom isn’t new.  I mean you look back at Elvis, The Beatles, boy bands, etc all their fans, typically female show this extreme fandom/worship of them.

Just an aside, what might help you with the crashing is getting rid of save files. If you’ve amassed quite a lot of them it seems to affect the game’s stability.

It’s not a slow year for RPGs at all. Baldur’s Gate 3, Starfield, Cyberpunk: Phantom Liberty, Colony Ship, WH40K: Rogue Trader, Sea of Stars, FF16, Diablo 4, Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn, Wartales, Persona 5 Tactica, Star Ocean: The Second Story R, For the King 2, etc.

I guess you don’t spend much time on Twitter. Because the discourse around the game there is just nasty.

Not sure if you fit in there, I’m sure you’ll tell my why you don’t.

Look, I don’t want to be annoying about it, but RE4 has no business being up for game of the year. It’s a fantastic facelife, but it isn’t a new game. The same goes for Deadspace (which, FWIW, I think was always a more interesting action horror game than RE4), and I’m glad that one didn’t get nominated.

That’d make sense if Lords of the Fallen dramatically changes the standard Soulsborne combat loop like Sekiro - and to an extent Lies of P - did, but it doesn’t. I also don’t see many of the reviews at all making that complaint, instead attributing the problems to ‘false’ difficulty like cheap traps and an

Cannot wait. Dragon’s Dogma is my favorite game ever. I hope this is releasing soon.

The biggest issues I have had with Starfield are mainly QoL and the procedurally generated content being way too consistent between planets.

Never in my life have I tried so hard to get any sort of enjoyment out of a game. But every slightly positive thing is marred by a bethesda formula that has not only been shattered into pieced but gets watered down more and more with every new game they make.

Great review. My biggest concern going into Starfield is that they were trying to do too much with it. After spending a few weeks with it, I can confirm my concerns were validated. It’s a game that presents you with so many incredible ideas—maybe some of the most interesting and (more importantly, this being a game

Jeff Bezos will not make you rich.
