They almost killed it though when they went to monetize it by putting already free features behind a paywall. Glad they reversed some of those decisions but I’m set up with and sticking with Syncthing (and if your a privacy type there is the whole open source thing).

I agree. I only gave this a chance because of Timothy Olyphant and it has turned out to probably be the funniest thing I’ve watched in ages. I’ve actually started recommending to people who I know would normally have no interest in it.

I miss Clippy.

I don’t want to watch the weddings of people I know and are invited to. Why would I want to watch the wedding of people I don’t and have no bearing on my on my life whatsoever.

That is the first time I’ve seen the zoned seating pricing (all seats are priced the same here, shouldn’t be surprised that they are introducing/testing premium seating). I think MoviePass is just picking up the premium pricing (like 3d, IMAX, Dolby) and kicking it out. It might be coincidental or it might be how AMC

Well I’d argue that MoviePass had a business model that isn’t working out the way they were hoping it would. It was basically the following:

More like guidelines than actual rules.

You mean people don’t toss it in every time? That is always the way I’ve always done it (when I can find it, otherwise I just pour the detergent for about 5 seconds)

You know it is coming to Android (in May according to my eagerly awaiting child) might as well include instructions for us as well. My solution is not allow the child to use my account. They have their own account that they have put a re-loadable debit card that their allowance goes on. So if they can’t spend more

Don’t care. Salt isn’t the only source for microplastics and it is unknown whether or not it is harmful or not, or at what level. Even the study showing MP’s in sea salts has negligible health risk. Quite frankly whatever I am putting the salt in or on is probably doing more harm than the whatever MP’s may be in the

I’m not refined enough to notice the difference. Personally I cook with sea salt through a grinder.

NASCAR.........it is easy to follow when your drunk - they are always making a left turnnnnnnnn*

On the other hand if you want an easier to type password with a greater security profile then don’t use the same random token but a different random token for each site. That should give you the best of both worlds by putting it past dictionary attacks it doesn’t matter if they get a hold of a couple passwords to

I think you missed the point - the random part would be the only constant between passwords at different sites. So for one site your password is

Better yet memorize a random string and attach that to your phrase so

I know for a while they were playing around with being able to log into apps on Windows but I think they gave it up as to difficult to do.

Yes they are, but that is just a side benefit.

Eh, I figured it out what they were for when I gave it a moments thought. I suspect most people have. I didn’t know how they worked though - I always figured they somehow measured change in capacitance or resistance, never thought they were pneumatic - which does seem more practical.

I don’t add people but allow them to add me. I don’t put anything on Facebook that I wouldn’t say or share in the office anyway.

The problem for the movie chains is that MoviePass then has leverage to start making demands like “give us a percentage of those concessions, or we won’t support your theater”.
