I suppose there is an accounting/legal reason why they must list the processing fee separate from the subscription price. If though you have to buy an annual subscription and pay a mandatory processing fee that you can’t get around then your per month cost is $7.50. It is fine to break it down but meh on presenting on

Never said I did and I don’t feel like I am missing out for it. I like what I like and if others like something I don’t, more power to them. I might of liked it better if I had watched it during its initial run instead of after watching a number of shows that it is credited for influencing. On the other hand cop shows

Yay! I’m not the only one who thought.....”eh, it’s all right” about The Wire.

Quit being germophobe and grow an immune system.

Drop the knots all together and go velcro.

I put on my music and my kids put in their headphones to continue listening to theirs (at least I don’t have to listen to it).

I love Kat Dennings, but I am not a fan of the single camera format. This may be difficult.

That has been a feature of Hangouts for I don’t know how long but definitely long before they pulled SMS out of Hangouts.

They almost had an iMessage equivalent with Hangouts but then they screwed it up by pulling SMS out of it to put it in Messages (unless you use Google Voice).

Ideally of course they want you to watch the movie and buy the concessions. However if the choice is between buy the ticket and leave or an unsold seat, they will take the ticket purchase.

I’m going to guess your in the minority on that as I suspect most people just set their phones to silent or do not make a change at all. The real question is if you are buying a ticket daily to rack up reward points, are you going to turn your phone off every time while you are supposedly “at the movie”.

Beats me. There is more than one way to figure out where you are than just GPS. I doubt many people want to turn off their phones for 2 to 3 hours a day but some may. It depends on how hard they want to enforce it. They might cancel people, they might let it slide.

The thing is theaters have no reason to spend resources to enforce it. Somebody bought a ticket and the theater got paid. Whether that person actually watches the movie or not is none of their concern - they got their money. Now theaters are concerned with people jumping shows, but that isn’t a MoviePass issue as

Most of the rules are to plug ways people are gaming the system and costing them money, not sure I’d consider that seedy.

I heard on a podcast that a guy and a group of his work buddies would go to the theater at lunch, buy a ticket, and head back. They were doing it to build up reward points with the theater chain. I’m guessing the new rule is to curb that.

I think that MoviePass is running out of capital and looking to plug the leaks and now extort the movie theaters. Enjoy it while it lasts folks, I expect price hikes within the year.

Never mind, question rescinded on further thought

The best reason for using Firefox is Tab Mix Plus. Which unfortunately is still in the process of being ported to the new WebExtensions API. Fortunately Tab Mix Plus can still be used if your willing to run the nightly (which I find to pretty stable with only a few minor quirks) by following these instructions

Yes it should, but I’d recommend using a 3rd party service like Lastpass rather than any of the native browser managers.

Huh....do you have an odd screen resolution because the site looks same to me in either Firefox or Chrome.
