Truthfully, I need them to cut back the concession prices instead of the ticket. Granted I could cut out the concessions (and frequently do) but that takes away from my experience which discourages me from going in the first place.

I think people are harder on Green Lantern it deserves. Not saying it is a great move but decent enough. Sadly I think the big problem is WB had no faith in it and felt they had to put everything in it instead saving stuff for the trilogy.
If you’re bargain hunting at $4 a ticket, you’re not going to go in spending gangbusters on concessions.
I’ve learned to view fictional stories told by many authors, media, and through the way historians view history. In that historians study events as they may be told and retold by many sources whose details may differ and even contradict. By which they suss out what is the most likely accounting of the event (at least…
I asked for the sequel.
You are not the only one.
I find it easier to sift through my watch history than my browser history.
For all intents and purposes there is no continuity. They pretty much said as much when they explained that the time traveling Romulan’s (and who knows who else is mucking about the timeline) set back World War III by a decade or more. They are pretty much using Terminator rules where somethings change but the…
Meh, I like my watch history, particularly when I need to track down a video I watched.
Not the copyright but the trademark.
I wish they offered a $2/month ad-free tier that isn’t bundled with music or anything else. I’d subscribe to that. But they don’t and my ad-blocker still works.
Nope, can’t agree on that. I enjoyed MoM and thought it was fine. Mid-tier Marvel sure, but still a good movie.
They did establish they were on the power level of the MCU Avengers. And yes show don’t tell might be nice but budgets and time have limits.
I agree with you completely. The movie wasn’t about the Illuminati it is about Strange and Wanda. Their only purpose was to provide an infodump and die.
Doesn’t matter. Once you put it out in public you lose control over what people do with it. It is a dangerous line to think you can restrict public information and knowledge because someone might use it in a way you didn’t expect or now want to profit off of.
How is this any different from how they built the search engine? Public is public if you put it out there for anyone to see then what do you expect? Sure copyright law prevents you from redistributing your works without express permission - but it doesn’t prevent others from using your works to inform themselves,…
Gold-star is the base level membership.
I don’t know how it is at other Costco locations but at mine they have employees manning the self-checkout stations to check you out. Kinda of best of both worlds really (even if they don’t grasp the concept of self-checkout) - it is faster then unloading the cart and faster than I can do it.
Why? I’ve never shared my membership with anyone, it is doubtful I ever will.
If they would offer an ad-free tier of YouTube Premium without the music service at say $3/mo I’d be willing to do that. I have no use for the music service though and $11/mo is just to expensive.
