We were, but nothing’s more Jalop than figuring shit out on the fly, so I’d say Elizabeth is fully and firmly One Of Us now.

Seems like every other week or so I get at least one person wanting to race me at a stop light or on the freeway. I drive a BRZ. My car is slow as fuck. They are either looking for an easy laugh if I was stupid enough to try or dumber than nails (or perhaps both I guess?).
How weird... A Trump-related article with a picture of Trump where he looks like a raging lunatic. Whether he is...or isn’t... Why not attempt to be neutral? Why not just have a picture of the autonomous car and report on the public’s perception of them? Sure, mention Trump’s remarks, but try to do it in a neutral way?
Looks like it’s Porsche 917-025, judging from the paint scheme. That car was owned by “Team Zitro”, a privateer team in endurance racing. The team owner was named Ortiz, the team name is Ortiz spelled backwards.
This is what I’m going to miss with the inevitable wholesale adoption of electric vehicles. Tesla can make a car that easily beats almost any other vehicle 0-60, but it will never give you the visceral feeling that something that sounds like this does.
As a skateboard kid for a decade plus (wheelchair now...unrelated), I always thought it was funny how 99% of DC Shoes never touched griptape.
Even if GM made it no one was going to buy it since it would either be shitty on the inside but affordable or have a competitive interior/exterior and then it will be priced above what people think it’s worth.
“Those Jalopnik readers also wanted it to come from the factory used and fully depreciated.”
“I’m not kidding about how obsessed enthusiasts are with Subaru wagons. When I asked Jalopnik readers on our Instagram and Facebook group what they wanted from Subaru or if they had any questions for the automaker, an astounding majority asked about the Levorg.”
They call them bitch baskets for a reason.
I think the issue isnt too much sealant during reassembly, I think they just werent very careful or clean about getting rid of the original stuff.
I have this argument all too often with people.
You ever have someone try to wreck you at 140mph? These guys behaved better than some people who drive on the interstate at 60mph.
How are we supposed to ignore real problems without imaginary ones to take our attention?
Star for journalistic integrity. Not like Jalopnik would know what that is.
I’m from belgium. The accident had nothing to do with automatic systems. The guy driving just never drove an automatic before and used his left foot to push the clutch in to go into second gear. But what does the left pedal do in an automatic when pushed all the way in? That’s right, it makes cyclist crash into you!
I’ve done road trips in Crosstreks and WRXs without any discomfort. I think some cars are just more comfortable for different people than others.
I’ve done a few campouts in a Imprezas, normal and Crosstreks. I thought they were fine. Never did I feel uncomfortable, front or back. I guess it’s preference.
Is there one in a museum somewhere? Drive the rest of them.
watch it, pal..I’m 70 and I race every weekend..wanna try me, sugarpants?
