Traxxas is great with their upgrade program. It makes a expensive hobby a little less so. I still think it’s cheating but I’ve been running them since the late 80's so I’m stuck in my ways.

This old fart needs knee surgery but will be back on it as soon as the recovery is done.
Fair enough, that was part of the reason I bought mine.
As a owner of some nitro cars, the new brushless systems are just as fast, if not faster and much less maintenance.
I had an unpleasant neighbor kid that would chuck rocks at my cars when I was running them in the street. That stopped when his father was asking me about getting him one. I pointed him in the right direction but mentioned the rocks. That stopped right quick but the kid missed out on a whole bunch of parts I could…
Umm, no. They don’t make you do anything but buy the car.
Gyros are pretty new to RC. Not all of them have it.
Wait, what about a licence? I’ve been playing with RC since the late 80's and not one has ever required a licence. You can get a traxxas RTR that with the right parts can do 100+ with no licence required.
My brother tried that bullshit with me since I drive a subaru and eat sushi. Then I reminded him we’re German and told him to shut the fuck up.
They have a bunch of huge presses banging out body panels with local that begs to differ.
Most of the non performance ones are with local steel. The drivelines come from japan though. At least that’s what they told me on the 2 tours I went on.
Without the UP cat and the port and polish and was the 3 in. catless? I can see 30 with flat highway driving.
That’s amazing. I’ve only owned subarus for the past 20 years and have been involved with a subaru shop for 15+ and I’ve never heard of anyone mileage like that. Might be because we all have lead feet but...
Depending on the subaru it may be a LOT more american than his ride. SIA has been making the legacy, the outback and others in a zero landfill plant using mostly local sources. The drivetrains come from japan but they have 3 story presses banging out body panels and other parts made form american steel. My high and…
Hot chicken spice might work well though.
Let’s not speak of the evil, lest you invoke her presence.
The licencing system in the US is horribly broken.
Right, everything will be fine when one or all of those systems fail. Most of that technology just gives a false sense of security. When everything goes tits up, they have no experience to fall back on.
I’m not surprised in the least. Personal responsibility? What’s that?
