But, it’s in Tennessee.
But, it’s in Tennessee.
AWD and studded snows don’t really help on zero friction ice. It’s likely it’s also just below freezing meaning it’s even more slippery because of the small amount of water between the tire and the ice. When it’s extremely cold it actually provides slightly more traction.
I remember having it when I was in school but that was a long, long time ago. Seeing most drivers reactions now, I’m sure it’s been cut in favor of SAT prep or something else useless.
I constantly see people braking while turning and I live on top of a ski mountain. How they haven’t grasped driving dynamics by now blows my mind. It can be a useful skill but mainly on track so yes, it should almost never be done under normal driving conditions.
If you lived your whole life in a place where it rarely gets below freezing I can understand it not being covered in driver education.
The weight on the front and the sodium filled tired don’t help.
If it’s anything like my 903 powermaster or the case it’s got independent brakes. Flip the link bar, stomp a pedal and it will do donuts, slowly.
I’m with you Tahoe. I’ve only owned subarus for the last 20 years. Everyone in my immediate family except one owns them. Me and friends have been tracking them for 15+ years. We used a turbo legacy to win a NASA championship and used a BRZ to win 2 PTD championships. We’ve run a subaru tuning shop since 2001. We’ve…
Except when talking about chest size.
No, you need to go to Japan.
It’s the whole damn east coast for some reason. It’s like one moron did it and everyone followed.
That is about the only issue I had with it. I’m running dedicated snows but you’d be amazed how many new STI owners don’t understand that summer tires are hockey pucks in the cold and will likely kill you. I’ve been a tirerack dealer for 15+ years. There is a lot of good information on that site. All compromises…
Sorry, I missed that part. :(
That’s fine, cite your sources and there can be debate rather than just flinging hate. This isn’t facebook.
If theft is a worry, sit in your car. Everything after theft in your post isn’t needed. It’s not the worst idea to let it warm up a little. In really cold temps I’ve blown HP steering lines because of fluid thickness, my 5 sp has been like rowing an oar through concrete.
I have a galaxy s3 running nougat. It’s a bit slow because of the hardware but it still works perfectly fine.
She was high as a kite even before she hit the concrete ramp.
Bah, here in NJ they give away licenses in crackerjack boxes. That little card means nothing.
There are pockets of moron spread all across the country.
Tailgating? I’ve seen it fly off into other lanes and wreck windshields. Maybe just clean the car like a considerate person.
