It’s a good analogy. Drifting is ballet as it takes skill and finesse to get a car around the track on the edge of control. After you’re done you’re judged by others and you see who wins.

You are very correct. Might be why there is one in my driveway.

Not really but I’d love if they dropped a EJ207 into it but we all know that’s not happening. The FA is the way forward in their eyes.

New ones, sadly yes. Than again the new foresters are way too large for my tastes. My 2014 is a good size, even if it’s a shushbox.

I’m quite sure they hear it from everyone that shows up at SoA for the 48 hrs of tristate. We want the power with the utility. The thing is we are a small part of the market. Last time I was at SIA every car we saw was sold and they don’t make the WRX/STi there. Compared to the numbers of regular subarus sold we’re a

You are correct. NY and NJ drivers have a method, if somewhat flawed, to their madness. You can mostly predict it. Mass drivers are crazy as a shithouse rat.

I’m glad you guys made it out okay.

Don’t forget about connecticunts.

You fucking scumbag. What type of asshole takes someone’s dog and flings them in a busy street? Bloomfield Ave can be infuriating to drive on but you don’t throw dogs. If you tried that with mine you wouldn’t get to toss him as he’d be clamped onto your arm and I’d wouldn’t be rushing to call him off.

Having 300 at the wheels is just about perfect. It just needs the brakes and the suspension to back it up. Way too many people put power into subarus before beefing up the more important parts like tires, brakes and suspension.

I daily drive a FXT because the GF stole the OBS 5sp because it’s more fun to drive. I have a swapped 96 impreza L that’s lots of fun but for daily use it’s a bit much. Honestly the RS is a much more fun daily driver than the swapped car. You can romp on it with much less chance of tickets. The shushbox FXT is a good

I didn’t say it was easy to see the plate. ;)

Yup, they had a similar turbo engine that was close to what the WRX had. Smaller intercooler and turbo with a few other differences. I agree the outback is more practical as did most customers. That’s why they only lasted a few years and command such a high price. Just find a FXT with a 5 sp and bolt on some parts and

You’re correct, swapping out the suspension isn’t that hard. My friend did it when his started to go. The fluid is specific to the Cybrid system afaik but still available from subaru, for a price.

I should have been more specific. I’m looking for a 4th gen wagon with the turbo engine. I’m still kicking myself for not buying this one that’s next to my RS at Pocono.

I forgot they made single color ones. It’s been so long since I’ve seen one I started to think all they made was the 2 tone yellow. I’d have to find a silver one to keep it consistent across all my cars.

I’d take a XT6. They do have issues though. The electronic power steering takes a special fluid that’s priced like printer ink and the pneumatic suspension is a bit of a bitch. With some massaging they are surprisingly quick. The styling is coke spec 80's inside and out.

Pretty sure the only way you’d get that is to have to have it resprayed. I don’t believe they came in single color. All the ones I’ve remembered seeing are two-tone. Not that that’s a bad thing seeing how subaru paint is questionable.

I’ve been looking for a Baja XT to add to the FXT, OBS and RS in the driveway already. They’re pretty hard to find and all of them seem to be yellow, not my favorite color. I have a feeling I’ll find a LGT 5 sp wagon before finding a Baja I’d want.

If it’s not an XT it’s not for me. Bonus points for being a manual though.
