I think that it would be wonderful to live forever, or at least to have the option to - just the knowledge of that would change the way so many people live their lives. Life is not miserable. We can make our lives wonderful or limit ourselves. Personally, I like life, with its difficulties and rewards, and would…

Does this mean that Samsung actually develops something on its own? *ducks*
I kind of like it. Basically.
I would imagine Apple will be hunting down the perpetrators - it cannot be that difficult to figure out who uploaded the video and through him learn who made it. On the assumption that the parts are real, whoever stole them to make the video is causing serious financial damage to Apple - like a mosquito to a…
With no clearance, can you ride it anywhere but the city?
Really awesome! This is what I imagined growing up to do, though things didn't pan out that way. I keep finding myself wondering if it's possible to explain something to people without using the word "actually" in never every sentence.
3500 cars makes it seem as though the plane is far less efficient than a car, but when distance traveled is taken into account, I would imagine a plane to be much more efficient. Anybody here know?
That was incredible, though the music seems suspiciously reminiscent of Elijah Bossenbroek's "I Give Up"
OEM's often sell laptops with FreeDos so that the user can install their own OS. If the price is right this should be a nice option financially, but IMHO it'd have to be at least $200 less than the Windows version of the same ultrabook. Ubuntu does "just work" if all you need to do is use Chrome and make Office…
I don't think this is the future any more than Dragon Dictation or Google's microphone-based input in Chrome. For all their fanfare I still don't know anyone who actually uses them actively, which might account for why the technology has progressed so little comparatively to other technologies over the last two…
This makes me feel pretty good - I've been getting ideas for a logo for my business, as bad as they are, it's nice to know you can change later.
We really are moving, though, as the earth orbits the sun, and as the sun orbits the universe, and so on, so this seems to me to be a beautiful explanation of how we can fool ourselves in order to justifiably use theoretical models to understand mode about the universe.
Some ideas of who the Asian guy might be:
Without fiber, I think it'd still wind up being difficult to use the can.
That looks a whole lot more like lots of printing paper than stainless steel.
Being that we're carbon based organisms, perhaps graphene is the great-great-great-great-great... great granddaddy of whatever we'll eventually use to synthesize a person.
It's beauteeful. Really nice. Is it better than Apple Maps and is it being as actively developed? Amazon is clearly trying to contend with Google now that the spot is open, especially if they're releasing it as a free app (doesn't that mean Android will receive it soon?).
Being that a system of this sort already was designed and working 40 years ago, what's new about this?
