Even moreso than cars, I think pre-owned is the way to go with RVs. The depreciation hit is incredible.

A million times this. When I tell people I do basic maintenance on my car (oil, brakes, spark plug, etc) they always treat me like I have supernatural powers. I don’t, I just understand internet forums and Youtube.

I’ve been the face of a business when dealing with a screaming customer. For this reason I never yell at the mechanic, waiter, waitress, hotel front desk person. I’ve been there. Its sucks. Plus it seems that if you are just a reasonable person and talk calmly and rationally you get what you need a lot faster.
